She is an absolute star!

My daughter has been going to Mary's since she was 11 months old, and it was the best decision we've ever made. Mary has been so caring, loving and patient towards all the children she is looking after. You know you find the right person when my daughter comes home happy and wanting to go back daily!

Mary looks after all the kids so well, they do dancing, reading, singing and loads other activities together. We can see how happy our daughter is when she knows she is going to Mary's that day. Except for me and my husband, Mary is the person our daughter sees most, and to her, Mary is like a family member and someone she really enjoys spending time with. I love how flexible Mary is when we needed her help and the communication we can get about our daughter throughout the day when she is there. You can always put your mind at ease when Mary is looking after your children as she is so good at what she does!

Look no further... you will not find a better childminder than Mary, get in touch - I promise you won't regret it!

Mary looked after my daughter Allegra 4 days per week, from 10 months old until she was 4 and only leaving for her pre-school year at Nursery.

Marys home and garden is lovely and spacious and wonderful for the kids, a complete children's haven! There is an abundance of toys and books, Mary reads and dances with the kids and they have all of her attention. On warmer days there is fun in the paddling pool!

On a personal note, my daughter absolutely loves her and treats Mary more like family that her childminder. Mary has been a huge part of our lives, and a big part of who Allegra is today. She really cares for her children and their families - Allegra leaves being part of her family, me too! We'll continue to be in Mary's life for years to come I am sure.

Our very own Mary Poppins!

Mary is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is so caring and attentive. My little boy loved spending time at her house and if I ever need a childminder again Mary will be my first port of call. I would 100% recommend Mary to anyone looking for a childminder.

An absolute star

Mary has been caring for my daughter Darcy-Leah from august last year and I couldn't be happier with the care love and support that Mary offers my daughter whilst I'm at work. It's plain to see that Mary loves all the children within her care & the children love her dearly. Darcy-leah settled in really quickly at Mary's home which is safe & secure for all the children & there's an abundance of toys for all ages to help with learning and development. Mary also has sing songs, reads storys & has an arts & crafts section where all the children can join in & organises topics depending on the time of the year. The back garden is also a kids safe haven with lots of outdoor toys to keep the children entertained & happy. Mary takes the children walks down the park & to bookbug sessions at the nursery too. Mary is more than happy to help at short notice if my hours at work change & always updates me daily on activities & how darcy-leah has been. We are so lucky to have mary in our lives she really does play a key role in darcy-leahs upbringing & I'm very much looking forward to having Mary continue caring for darcy-leah over the years to come ? ur a star much love siobhan & darcy-leah xxx

I would highly recommend Mary's services to all. My 2 young children, Robbie aged 2 and Ellie aged 1 when they started, have had a ball. I was very apprehensive to begin with as to how the kids would settle as Robbie had hardly left my side when I fell pregnant very quickly after having him, however Mary soon knocked any doubts that I had on the head! They loved her. They actually dont want to come home at the end of the day and often ask to "go see Mary". Mary has lots of space and activities to keep the kids entertained. She also takes them out to various places. There is no doubt she loves each and every child in her care. Robbie and Ellie have both come so far since being in Mary's care. I can also say that Mary has been so flexible with us also on many occasions and helped us at short notice. Once again Mary, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you have did for us and welcomed my kids into your home. You have been so kind. ? xx 5 star care!

Mary Poppins has'nt got a look in!

Where do I start?.. I'm not exaggerating by saying that finding Mary has been an absolute blessing for our family. Having tried a local nursery and feeling utterly disappointed and uncomfortable with the level of care and attention my son was receiving I really felt helpless. Having made the decision to move from nursery to a childminder, I was really fortunate to have had a chance discussion with a family friend who highly recommend Mary.

From the minute Jack started with Mary (15 months at the time) I've felt I real sense of relief knowing that he was in a safe and nurturing environment. Leaving your baby is never easy but with Mary I just know that he's getting lots of love and fun all day long so it make it easier to walk away. Jack loves going to Mary's and often shouts her name at the weekends and on holidays, he gets excited when were getting ready to leave the house to go to hers - for me there is no better endorsement than that!! Mary has all the qualities I could wish for in a childminder... she's kind, caring, fun, patient, loving - as well as being reliable and understanding. We have joked that she is our very own Mary Poppins but it really does feel like we're leaving Jack with his gran - he gets the run of the house and garden (both are fabulous - lovely and comfortable and have everything a child could ever wish for!) and he gets hugs and kisses when he needs them - What more could we wish for!! I can't express enough how fortunate I feel to have found Mary, like Mary Poppins...she's perfect in every way ;o)

First class

As parents both returning to work and leaving our toddler and baby with someone other than family for the first time, it left us feeling anxious as to how it would all work out.

From first contact with Mary through to the present day, she has been first class, prompt to reply and putting you at ease with regular updates. Mary is easy to work with, friendly and accomodating, and most helpful at sorting any problems that do arise. She has a lovely, well organised home and a good big garden that is safe and secure.

Most importantly, both our boys look forward to their time with Mary, and are coming on leaps and bounds, enjoying playing and making things with the other boys and girls that attend.

Myself and my wife can wholeheartedly recommend Mary to everyone, and are grateful for the work, care, fun and love she clearly puts into it every day :-)

We all love Mary!

Mary has cared for my son and daughter for over 5 years. Both my kids and I adore Mary and consider Mary to be a family member. Mary makes every child feel at home and loved in her care. I have witnessed this with all the kids over the years! Mary regularly takes the kids to toddlers, story time, soft play and swing parks. The kids have a large play room dedicated to fun where the toys are regularly rotated to ensure kids are stimulated. The back garden is like a swing Park, full of fun for the children! Mary reads to the children every day, plays dress up and encourages the kids creative sides by encouraging them to paint and play with play do etc. Mary also likes to surprise us parents with cards the kids make us for mothers day, fathers day etc which is a lovely touch. The kids have lots of healthy snacks to chose from and a love for fruit is encouraged with them. My kids run in the door every week and don't leave without making a scene because they are having so much fun. We don't let it get to us because we are just so happy the kids love Mary and we can go to work not feeling guilty about leaving them. We have never had any problems getting in touch with Mary when she has the children and we receive regular pictures of kids having fun which is great.
If you are looking for a happy, safe and enriching environment for your kids, then I would highly recommend our lovely Mary xxx

Mary has been childminding my 2 children, age 16 months and three years for four months now. I can't say enough good things about Mary, she is a brilliant childminder. My relatives live too far away to help with childcare much, having Mary in our family life feels like we have a helpful, caring relative just down the road. Mary feels like a member of the family and my kids love her. Sometimes my eldest daughter asks if she can go to Mary's house even if it's a day when I'm not working. My daughters are always happy to go to Mary's house, and I can tell from how they behave when they arrive home from Mary's that they have had a good day. Mary is very helpful and often goes out of her way to help us as a family, often going above and beyond the call of duty without me asking. She is very accommodating. Mary is very sensible. I trust her completely to look after my children well, and I trust her judgement, I don't feel that I have to spell anything out regarding how to look after the children, she is a natural. I have never seen Mary stressed, even when she's looking after a few children at a time, which would make many mothers stressed from time to time. I relax totally at work knowing my children are safe in good hands. Mary allowed me and the children to visit her in her home a few times before she started childminding them so they could settle in. This worked well, my children settled in quickly with no issues. Mary's husband is sometimes in the house when I drop the kids off, he is also good with the kids and I don't have any concerns with them being in his company. After this experience, even if I didn't need to work, I would still like my kids to go to Mary's house because it is clear they are gaining positive experiences from being at Mary's, them going there is benefiting them.

I always say that the kids I look after are just like my own and I treat them exactly as I would my own.

I have lots of love for them and they get lots of hugs and kisses every day.

It is important for children to know how precious they are and to learn and have fun at the same time.

One In A Million !

I have three boys, twin boys who are now 6 and another who is 4. Mary has cared for all three of my boys since the twins were 1 years old and my youngest was 10 months old. She was brand new to child minding when we met her but instantly after meeting her we knew that we could entrust our precious boys to her. I work full time and I am totally confident that whilst the boys are in her care they are happy, loved and safe.

Over the past five years Mary has not only provided the highest level of care possible , but has been a very influential role model for the boys providing them with educational extra-curricular activities and allowing them to grow as individuals. She has made her home a safe haven for her children inside and out and the boys enjoy every minute they spend with her.

On a personal level Mary has also become a confident and a close friend to me and loves my boys as her own and my boys just adore her. Mary has become a very important person in our lives and I’m am sure that as the boys grow older and leave her care she will always be part of their lives.

I truly believe I could not have found anyone better to care for children. Mary is one in a million.

Thank you for the very kind and lovely review, I truly love the boys and they have a very special place in my heart, they bring me so much joy and laughter and we have very special moments together and I truly love and care for them like my own, they love it here and for a long long time did not know I was their "Childminder" they just looked on me as a family member who looked after them, they even used to ask me "What did I work at and what was my job" as they grew older they came to know that I was their childminder but that did not change the special relationship we share. You and I too have become very close as we both have 3 very special boys best interests at heart.

So glad we found Mary

Mary has cared for my son since 6 months old (he is now 19 months). We searched for the perfect carer for our son for months & could not believe our luck when we found Mary. My son had feeding problems & Mary was totally able and willing to manage these, she was flexible, committed and even from first visit she has adored my little boy.

We are never stressed or worried when our son is with mary. He has opportunities to paint, draw, sing, do activities, go walks, soft play and many more things. Without hesitation mary will make contact with us if she needs to.

Overall I am delighted with Mary's care of my son. She is like a family member and it is clear that Mary loves my son very much. I could not ask for any more.

Fantastic Childminder

Mary has cared for my son who is now 3 years old since July 2011.
I can't recommend her highly enough. My son absolutely adores Mary and sees her as another member of the family. I can always contact Mary when my sons in her care and can rest easy knowing he is being very well cared for. Mary has been a massive help over the years and is currently looking forward to caring for my daughter when I return to work soon :)
My little boy always talks about his adventures with Mary, she makes a real effort to keep the kids days varied and I know my little boy loves visiting the ducks at the pond and an afternoon at soft play but he loves cosy days playing games and drawing just as much. Mary has always cared for Lewis like he was a grandson giving him and the other children lots of love and it's obvious all the children she cares for absolutely adore her.

A+ childminder

Mary was recommended to me by a friend and as soon as my son (2yrs old at the time) and I met her, we knew she was the right choice. My son settled in straight away and I instantly felt at ease leaving him with her. I was given full updates on everything he had done and eaten throughout the day and always felt comfortable asking her advise on his development etc.

Mary has a lot of energy and is always busy with the children in her care, taking them to groups, soft play or simply playing and completing activities at her home. My son (who is now at school) was very sad to have left Mary's care and still asks to visit on occasion. Mary also contacts me to ask how my son is getting on at school. Her love for the children in her care, doesn't end when the parents come to pick them up. It goes a lot further than that.

I had no hesitation on contacting Mary again, when I was in need of a childminder for my second child (now 10months). Which I was delighted to hear she was able to take him.
Mary is not just a childminder, I would consider her a friend and like an auntie to my children.
I would recommend her to anyway without a doubt.
