Absolutely wonderful!

Sonia is brilliant and an absolute gem of a person and childminder. I truly feel so lucky that we found her to look after our son. When we joined her, our son was in a tricky developmental stage and we had been through a lot of upheaval with our childcare, all of which made him unsure and emotional. Sonia was instantly warm, calm, and inviting, helping our son get settled and feel comfortable. In the process she identified and worked with us to solve some previous behavioural issues, including extreme picky eating, and the difference we saw in him within the space of a few weeks was night and day.

Our son truly thrived with her: she took care to identify his strengths and uplift him while at the same time encouraged him to work on and practice areas for improvement for personal growth, as well as preparation for him moving on to preschool and school. She has a large garden and play area and also ensured that they went out every day, either to toddler groups and/or to parks and playgrounds in the area. I loved seeing the videos and photos of my son’s day with her as he was always having so much fun. Her energy and enthusiasm are fantastic, she really cares about the children she looks after, including making them nutritious and tasty meals and snacks.

She always went above and beyond and I really cannot praise her enough for how much my son blossomed with her. Now he has moved on we all miss her very much.

Amazing

My oldest has been with Sonia for over a year now and my youngest has been with her for a few months and honestly we don't know what we would do without her! She is such an amazing person and that reflects on how she takes care of the children. She is fun, energetic, caring and professional. My sons adore her! We receive daily pictures of them and updates on their development. She has an amazing back garden for the children to play and run around. Even with her amazing garden, she still takes them to the park or other activities everyday without fail, and teaches them with such grace and patience. My oldest is nearly 3 and speaks as if he was in school, that is all thanks to Sonia. She prepares healthy home cooked meals and snacks everyday and even makes healthy treats with the children to take home for us!

We would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for care for their children, she is trustworthy and her space is welcoming and safe.

An excellent, professional and caring childminder

Sonia looked after our one year old daughter Isabelle. From the moment we met her, Sonia put us at ease with her trustworthy and professional manner. She is full of energy and playful, Isabelle took to her immediately. Our daughter really enjoyed her time there. She loved playing with other children in Sonia's care, they were all very gentle and kind kids. Sonia planned lots of outdoor activities for them (not easy with small children!), provided home-cooked meals, and kept us up to date throughout with what Isabelle was doing/feeling. We received daily pictures of her and updates on her development and new skills she has mastered. Sonia has got great garden at the back for children to play and run around. We would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for care for their small child. We were very lucky to have found her.

So lucky to have found Sonia!

My daughter has been going to Sonia’s for a year now, we put her in when she was 8 months old and she and ourselves absolutely love her! She is so thoughtful, fun, kind, enthusiastic and informative. My daughter gets so excited when we arrive at her door in the morning. Having Sonia as our childminder put me at ease when I had to return to work. She has a lovely, fun set up and plenty of activity ;)

Amazing Childminder!!!!

My son has been going to Sonia since January this year when we had to find a new childminder. I was really stressed about moving him and can honestly say it has been the best thing ever! Sonia is fun, approachable and loves her job so much it shines through in everything she does. She makes sure to include diverse activities every day but gives the children enough time to play and learn at their own pace. I love the fact she takes them out to the park and play groups in the area most days but she also has a brilliant home environment with outdoor space and lots of toys! She cooks incredibly healthy food as well.

My son absolutely loves it there and I feel so happy to have found her. It really is a home from home and I would highly recommend Sonia to anyone looking for a childminder in this area.

Very lucky to find Sonia!

My son has been looked after by Sonia since he was 10 months old and we (and he!) are very happy with her. She is so thoughtful, enthusiastic and full of energy and fun. I can see the children have a great time with her, and her setting is fantastic: lots of toys and creative ideas for play, and she is rigorous with health and safety. Really delighted that we found her: can't recommend Sonia highly enough.

Highly Recommend

My son loves going to Sonia’s. He’s never upset when I drop him off, only when I pick him up as he’s having fun and would like to stay.
Sonia asks for regular feedback and always takes on board what you say. She home cooks which is great and takes him out every day. I’d highly recommend.
