Dedicated and warm childcare!

When we moved to Basingstoke in March 2021 we needed a nanny to our then 2-year old son and wanted a nanny that would come to us with her own children to give him some company. Jo was perfect for this position, a she is very well organised. She wonderfully managed the needs of all children when she came to us twice per week. Our children had much fun together over the almost one and a half year. At the same time our son also learned a lot about respect, sharing, and how to follow rules from Jo and her children. Hence I would highly recommend her for future positions. The reason why our collaboration ended is that our son is going to nursery four times per week now in preparation for school. However, we and our son miss her very much.

Review for our amazing nanny Jo

Jo has been with us since the end of Summer 2014, We would definitely be keeping her a lot longer if it was not for the fact that I am stopping work due to having another baby.

I cannot recommend Jo highly enough and any family is incredibly lucky to find her, we will be so upset to see her go. You just need to look at her cv to see how long she has stayed with previous families and see how close she still is to them to get an idea of how great she is.

Most importantly she is so warm and loving to our daughter who could not be happier when Jo arrives in the morning and the bond they have is incredible. Even though she could not be more loving and fantastic fun with children she is also wonderful at ensuring boundaries but in a very gentle and calm way. My daughter has totally blossomed since Jo has been with us in so many ways, her confidence has grown, she eats so many foods she would not touch before, Jo has found so many great new activities for her to try and after we moved to a new area she found her lots of new play dates and great friends. She puts so much effort into all of these things and so much more,

She always has such original, fun, engaging and creative craft ideas and spends a huge amount of time outdoors exploring which we felt was so important.

Clearly Jo's relationship with our daughter is the priority but she has also become such an easy and important part of the house, she is great to have around and really has become part of the family and also does so many useful bits and pieces around the house that ensure it all runs smoothly and does them completely pro actively never needing to be asked. She has also always been totally reliable and completely flexible which has been invaluable.
