God Send!

Following the birth of my Daughter in 2006, the 6 months maternity leave came and went too quickly! Unsure of my options of working hours that I may need to consider I was quickly rescued by Julie allowing me to return back to work full time.

It was my mum who recognised Julie from working at the same factory as us and also recalled her leaving to persue her childminding career. Julie's immediate "likeabilty, professionalism and flexibility" soon had us sold - Oh and the fact that she had a son the same age as my daughter, and being a stone throw away too!!

We are very greatful for everything that Julie done during the year + that she cared for our daughter. She contributed considerably to the way my daughter behaves and this is reflective in her own children. Julie was able to provide her with the right environment, equipment, activities and able to provide us with photos, greetings cards and pictures to enjoy.

Julie also encouraged routine and supported the children to understand how to play nicely and share. She was also able to provide activities that some parent cringe at the thought of! ie. Gluing, Painting and GLITTER as well as baking.
I believe this contribruted considerably to my daughter settling into pre-school very easily as Julie had provided her with all the necesary skills/manners.

Excellent Childminder

We met Julie about 5 years ago. We needed a childminder at short notice for our 1 year old twins. We were recommended her from a friend at my place of work, we arranged to meet at her house and from the word go, our children felt at ease and happy being with Julie and her family.

We knew straight away that Julie was very trustworthy, very reliable, understanding, extremely well organised and very enthusiastic!!

Our twins had fun and were always doing or going somewhere with various activities from going to the library and the park to playgroups and the toy bus.

Our twins stayed with Julie for 2 years full time and we can safely say we have never met a childminder who we can now call a very close friend! We would recommend Julie to one and all! You will be pushed to find someone as good as her!!!!!

Excellent Childminder

Julie has been looking after my little boy, Charlie, (who is just about to turn 7) for the last 2 years.

When I first started looking for a childminder Julie was recommended to me by 2 different mums. I got in touch and she invited us round to her home for a visit, she then came to visit us at home. I knew straight away that I could trust her to look after Charlie.

Charlie goes to Julie every night after school (up until this week he used to go every morning too) and he genuinely enjoys going. He has built a solid friendship with Julie’s own children and the other children that she looks after.

Julie is extremely well organised, punctual and very friendly and I have never once seen her flustered. She is very flexible and understanding if I need to make last minute changes to our schedule due to work commitments. Her home is always clean and tidy and her two little ones are very well behaved.

On a personal level, I feel that Julie has become a friend of ours and we are VERY grateful for everything that she does.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Julie to anyone who is looking for an excellent childminder.
