We first heard about Carol and Libby through friends of ours that had kids in their setting, we met with them a few months before our son was even born and knew they were the perfect fit for us. Our son started at 6 months old and 2 years later he wouldn’t the boy he is today without the two of them and we wouldn’t be the parents we are today without their constant understanding, support and guidance. We have constant communication with them and they are always providing us with updates. They are always teaching the kids new things in fun and accessible ways and we could not be more pleased with how our son is progressing. He walks to the door with a smile on his face, has a smile on his face throughout the day, and leaves with that same smile in the evening. We could not ask for any more!

We have been with Carol and Libby for almost 5 years now, and they have looked after our two daughters. Our oldest is now at school but loved her time with them both, and still talks about it now! She loved being with them both and and to see how much she developed in her time there, is a credit to Carol and Libby.
Our youngest daughter (2.5 years) has been with Carol and Libby since 8 months and again, loves the time she is there 3 days a week. Carol and Libby are such a great team together providing a home from home setting, with so much care and attention that goes into everything. They are always providing a wide range of activities to broaden the little ones skills and offering advice on what we can work on at home. We were really drawn by the fact that the children and still able to get out and about during the day and to have a slightly larger group of children to interact with.
Carol and Libby are always approachable if we have any worries and keep us well informed with pictures and daily diaries. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Carol and Libby are an absolute dream team! My LO (nearly 2 YO) attends their setting 2 days a week and has flourished.
They are both friendly and welcoming treating my LO like family I especially love the daily reports which show what my child has been doing i.e sensory tiles, paint sticks, story and rhyme time, duck pond and park etc. What and how much they have eaten for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner all freshly prepared healthy and yummy. How long they have slept and nappies they’ve had. I get pictures of activities my LO has been part of and he always looks like his having a blast.
Carol and Libby are fantastic at keeping you updated about your child offering individually bespoke next steps.
I’m so grateful to find these two gems i can drop my child off knowing he is in the best hands and his enjoyment and safety is paramount to Carol and Libby.

Carol and Libby are an exceptional childcare duo, myself and my partner often credit them with being the other parents to our daughter who has been with them 4 days a week since she was 13 months old. We have clear, transparent communication, a thriving toddler who has been given lots of opportunities to be curious, explore, and get out and about. The home setting is exceptional and the quality of care is faultless. We don't hesitate to speak to Carol and/or Libby about anything and they offer a wealth of advice and experience. Most importantly, you can see how much they love the children and love what they do - anyone would be lucky to send their child here.

Carol & Libby have been absolutely pivotal to both my son and daughter’s development. My son has been with them since he was 13 months and has thrived so much in this time. When I had my daughter and needed to return to work at 6 months I didn’t hesitate to leave her with them as I knew she was in such good hands. Being a team of 2 they bring the best of nursery and childminder setting into one - a bigger group of children and complete flexibility with visits. This was so important to me as my son loves to be outdoors and exploring.
When my son first started with Carol & Libby we were put at ease with settling in sessions and lots of updates and photos. This hasn’t changed since and I look forward to seeing what both my children have been up to.
Both Carol & Libby provide invaluable support and advice on any issues we have at home or any questions we have.

Carol and Libby had our 15 month old once a week for a few months while I was job hunting, sometimes also taking him at short notice. Our son took to them straight away and used to run in the house on some days. They would provide varied activities and thorough feedback notes and guidance after each session. We loved receiving the arts and crafts that our son would create during his time with the ladies.
We would thoroughly recommend their services. The only reason we have changed childcare providers is because there wasn't a full-time space or we would have been very happy to leave our son there all the time - just hoping he likes the nursery just as much...

Carol and Libbie (C&L) childminded our son for nearly 6 months before he started school. They looked after him 3 days a week.
We were extremely happy with the care our little boy (M) received, and the great progress he made whilst in their care. C&L’s home was always welcoming, clean and well organised and M had great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in their care. Beyond all this though, its C&L’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets them apart from other childminders or nurseries we have experienced.
C&L provided a varied, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know M absolutely enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks in the woods.
C&L both are great communicators and had no trouble in gaining M’s confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which were important to us at home. Whenever M stepped outside his boundaries they responded with firm but kind discipline explaining what is right and wrong which he understood. Whenever he was hurt or feeling under the weather I knew that M would be happy to be comforted by C&L’s and I was confident that they can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.
C&L also provided healthy dinners and snacks such as fruit and rice cakes if kids are hungry or keen to eat. I am also aware that C&L ensured good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet. I’m sure that it is this practice together with the cleanliness of our home which has ensured that M has remained healthy and bug free for the last 6 months.
C&L completed a diary detailing what M had done each day. From that I had a complete picture of his whole day including what he had eaten, how long he had slept and all his activities. This helped me to feel involved with his care and that I can talk to him about his day.
All in all I was thoroughly happy with the level of care M received and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment had definitely helped him develop into a confident and self-assured little boy at school.
I would absolutely recommend C&L as a great and reliable childminders. Hope this helps any parent who is wishing to leave their little angel in Carol and Libbie’s hands.

My 3 years old daughter has been with Carol since September 2015 and settled very well. We have tried number of local nurseries before trying childminder and I had to pull out my daughter from them as she was constantly crying non stop because of not enough attention. I was worried same would happen here but amazingly she settled very well and since then love going to childminder. She learned a lot and constantly talking about what she was doing during the day and other kids at this setting.
I would recommend Carol to anybody who would like more personal touch for their kids.

Carol cared for both my children from small babies of just a few months old until my son was 8.
Both children thoroughly enjoyed their time with Carol, I never had to worry about them while I was at work after they'd skipped in to Carol's for the day!
Carol is a very experienced childminder and was also able to provide us with additional help and advice when we were faced with the usual challenges of bring up children, from potty training to settling them into a new school or naughty behaviour. As well as celebrating their successes with us.
Carol's educational approach helped give our children the best possible start.
I was priviledged to have such excellent care for my children helping me focus on my career while I had to work. We have only left Carol's as I have taken a career break and can't recommend her care highly enough.
