Lynsey is an absolute gem. She has a wonderful relationship with our three year old, whom she has looked after for almost a year. She is really kind, very consistent and extremely experienced. She seems to genuinely love her job and I feel very relaxed, knowing how happy my son is with her.
She has a clean, welcoming and large home with lots of space for play, plenty of nice toys and room to roam outside. She takes the children to different activities so they meet other children in larger settings (e.g. play cafes, soft play, groups etc) but then they return home for naps and a home environment in the afternoon, getting the best of both worlds.
She is child led and offers such a bespoke approach, really thinking about what my son needs as an individual and tailoring activities. My son was obsessed with cars when he started with her and she bought him a special book so they could spot and learn about cars together. She also helps the children widen their interests e.g. they have recently been doing a project about insects and as a result, my son has been telling me lots of little facts he’s learnt with her, which has been great for his curiosity and self esteem.
Lynsey is really brilliant at practical things like potty training and supporting children to have a proper, good nap at home and gaining more practical skills eg putting on shoes, keeping clean etc. She is patient and gentle with the emotional aspects of looking after babies and toddlers as well - such as dealing with anxiety and tantrums and really tries to understand how my son is feeling.
She is also great at supporting me as a mum. I can always talk things through with her eg decisions about preschool, diet, planning good child friendly holidays etc. as she is someone whose expertise and opinion I trust. She is also flexible so has supported us on occasion at other times of day eg babysitting, early drop off etc.
I have never seen her flustered and she is always positive and cheerful. She is accessible and approachable.
I highly recommend her as a childminder!

Lynsey was looking after our son Gustav (2 years old at that time) twice a week for 5 and a half months. We feel really lucky and grateful that we found Lynsey to look after Gustav. She is a really wonderful person, genuine, trustworthy, honest, patient and very friendly. She was always very caring and loving towards our son. Gustav felt at home when he stayed with Lynsey and did build trust and special relationship with her and her lovely family. We were so delighted to experience that as Gustav had a difficulty to stay with anyone else apart from close family. It was amazing to see how Gustav’s social skills and confidence grew during his time with Lynsey.
Lynsey has her house fully set up for children with large playrooms, sleeping areas and nice outside space for outdoor activities including water play. Environment is always welcoming, clean and safe. She has lots of wide range toys for children to play with. Lynsey also engaged Gustav in various games and plays that are educational and heled him to develop his imagination, language and other skills aiding his developmental needs. Besides the activities at home, every week Lynsey also took Gustav and other children to walks, various play groups, cafes and play parks. She was also taking children to picture house, aquarium, and other interesting places. Lynsey is also very thoughtful, and she made festive days such as Halloween, birthdays, and Christmas very special for children, organising group celebrations with themed activities, costumes, food, plays and walks. Gustav always had a great fun and amazing playtime when he was staying with Lynsey. Even tough Gustav had his lunch with him, Lynsey always provided children with nice food and snacks.
Lynsey is very attentive to details and communicated with us to keep us updated about Gustav’s development. She always sent lovely photos and told us how his day has been. Lynsey also was very much involved in helping us with understanding Gustav’s needs and she always gave her professional advice on how to deal with some aspects of Gustav’s behaviour, development and his needs. She is also flexible and has accommodated us with childcare hours outside our arranged days and times.
Considering everything, we are truly happy with the loving care Gustav received from Lynsey and we are absolutely delighted to see the growth in his development in which Lynsey has been instrumental really. We would absolutely recommend her as a wonderful, caring, loving, and engaging childminder. We were and still are very sad that we needed to leave Brighton and thus lose our wonderful childminder!

Lynsey is our little boys childminder. She is excellent with him and he has really flourished since being with her. She is calm, understanding and always listens to me when I have any worries or concerns. She is great with Charlie and he always waits by the door every morning so he can leave to spend the day with her! Lynsey is very pro active and take him out for walks too. 5 stars!

My boys have been with Lynsey since they were 6 months and 2.5. They both love going to her house and look forward to it every week. She's brilliantly flexible, and has a great range of toys for inside and out, and will find particular things for the boys that follow their current interests. She's also really good at taking them out and about to parks, woods, playgroups etc. 100% recommend.

My almost three year has been with Lynsey since he was 9 months old. He loves her and always looks forward to going. Lynsey offers a warm and loving home. My little boy is part of the family. Lynsey always has activities planned, cuddles on the go and a big heart. I always know he is in safe and comforting hands when I am at work.
Lynsey notices every change and development in him. She is very perceptive and we often ask her for advice as she is so knowledgeable. It really is a home from home environment. Lynsey gives detailed updates on the day they have had, and is always available for a longer chat if needed to discuss anything. For example we have been potty training and Lynsey has offered advice and has supported how we have potty trained him in her home. The bond Lynsey has developed with him is strong and it is clear she loves her job. I would 100% recommend Lynsey.

Our little boy went to Lynsey two days a week from about 16 months old and we absolutely loved the care she provided. Thoughtful, reliable, warm-hearted and lots of fun, she genuinely cared about Jude and his progress and happiness and he loved spending days with her. She always took care to adapt to his mood and his individual needs and was so patient. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Lynsey looked after my oldest son from a few months regularly until he was nearly 3 and then babysat occasionally too. When my youngest turned up she had both at least once per week for around a year and they always had a great time with her, were stimulated and entertained. They enjoyed going, she has a great selection of toys, outdoor space and took them out to the park and other places too. I could always trust Lynsey and felt comfortable having her look after my lovely boys and you can tell she really cares about them too. Highly recommend!
