Active and outdoorsy nanny

Jenna has worked for us as a shared nanny since last year. The contract is coming to an end only because the toddlers are starting their nursery.

When she started the babies were barely crawling, and both are now happily running around. This period has naturally been full of changes around the routines and needs, which Jenna has mastered skilfully.

For us, it was essential to find someone who will spend time outdoors with the children. Jenna has been fantastic by exploring different parks and outdoor venues with them. She always has the children’s safety in mind, so we, as parents, have been able to feel relaxed when they were out and about.

Additionally, she regularly meets with other nannies and their children. The meetups have been excellent as the kids got to spend time in groups and learn valuable social skills.

For Jenna, the children come first, and she makes sure they are exploring in a safe environment. She has been very accommodating with the differing needs of our children (such as napping routines and food allergies). Jenna has also been able to synchronise their rhythms beautifully and form a lovely bond between the kids. You can sense that the kiddies feel safe and trust her.

Lovely and capable nanny

Jenna has worked as a shared nanny for us and another local family for just under a year looking after two children, now aged 20&21 months. She is simply outstanding at what she does; kind, enthusiastic, trustworthy anencreative.

The way Jenna interacts with children is just lovely, involving them in conversations, singing, encouraging and using lots of imagination. She is outdoorsy and active, taking the children out to parks and on day trips. It is obvious our children have formed a close and trusting bond with her.

To top things off Jenna also somehow managed to settle into a seamless routine with two under 1s and handled the logistics of working for two separate families very well!

Our children are starting in a nursery in September which is why the current contract is coming to an end. We would have absolutely no concerns recommending Jenna for anyone who is looking for a reliable and fun nanny and are happy to provide additional references in writing or have a discussion over the phone if helpful.

Truly outstanding nanny

We have been lucky to have Jenna as a nanny for a year looking after 2 toddlers. The whole family adores her, she bursts with positivity and is a magician with children. She manages to establish a mature rapport with young toddlers and teaches them to communicate effectively to express their needs and views, avoiding most tantrums. The girls love Jenna and we hope we'll keep hanging out!
