I have used Nyarai for ad-hoc child care for the past 18 months. My daughter, who is very sceptical of others, took to her straight away. As a KS1 teacher, I really appreciate the early years learning environment she provides. My daughter is well cared for and challenged to learn in a play centred environment.

My little boy has been going to KCC since he turned one, and it’s been incredible to see how much he has progressed in the 11 months since attending. It’s great to see him socialise with the other kids in a really positive environment (which is exactly what I was after when looking for childcare). There’s lots of activities that he takes part in, and it’s always a treat when he brings home a cookie/cake that he’s helped to make! We get regular feedback and he always comes home a happy boy.

We feel really lucky to have found KCC for our daughter. She started there as a two year old when lockdown eased - she had been home with us and so not socialising much. It’s been amazing to see her bloom -and she is excited to go there in the morning. Nyarai has taught her all the letters of the alphabet by engaging the environment around her, she can spell her name (it’s long!), and the children have a really nice community together . Nyarai is very creative and they have themes every month which are also multicultural and explore the many celebrations, seasons etc in the calendar. Nyarai is also very attentive to her emotional growth. It feels like she is learning to be a whole person there, very much echoing how we are raising her. Highly recommend.

Nyarai has been an absolute God send especially after our daughter was home with not much interaction with children during lockdown. she was able to spot issues with her development very early on and actively worked on getting them sorted. She gives feedback pretty much during every pick up and our daughter absolutely loves being there. particularly love that she takes the children out almost everyday whether it's walking to the park, the market or museums. Elsie gets much more than someone just looking after her but all aspects of her education are also met but with a warm home like environment. This is definitely a role that you are made for or not, can't learn to care I don't believe and Nyarai is such a natural that we feel at ease knowing our daughter is there. She initiated potty training and was a very big part of her getting it so fast. Activities are so varied and informative it's a brilliant place for little ones to learn. Did I mention that they help with baking and cooking too? She has the cutest little aprons for them whilst they learn great skills in the kitchen. Elsie is our first child so having a parents evening this early was surprising however really appreciated as she spends so much time going over Everything to do with your child and its an open arena to ask anything you aren't sure of. All in all so happy and glad we went with Nyarai for our daughter.

Nyarai is an excellent childminder. She has looked after our daughter since she was 10 months old, she is now over 2 years old. Nyarai takes child development and early years education very seriously, the children do crafting and play related to educational themes each month. Though we initially had reservations about the size of her flat for the number of children - she has organised everything so well that it works amazingly, and they often take trips out to the park (once to the Hornman museum!). We get plenty of feedback on our daughter's progress and couldn't be happier with her service. 100% recommend!

Nyarai is amazing childcare provider who is attentive and engages the children in her care. Both my daughters have attended on an ad hoc basis and Nyarai has been very accommodating and supportive. They love going and never want to leave when it is home time!

Nyarai is an amazing Childminder!

She has looked after my daughter on a number of different occasions when myself and my husband have gone abroad, or when we have required babysitting services.
Nyarai is very caring and extremely patient. Our daughter never has any issues settling in, she always comes back extremely happy and full of stories to share about the fun and exciting things she has been up to.
I would highly recommend Nyarai as a childminder if you are looking for a trustworthy, creative and a genuinely nice individual to look after your child. 😊

Our son was at Kiwi’s from 10 to 27 months, and I could not have been happier. Nyarai is amazing - so patient and creative.

When we started our search for childcare, we weren’t exactly sure what we were looking for, but minutes into our interview with Nyarai, I knew she was it!

One of the thing that struck me when interviewing others was how much the children seemed like guests. At Nyarai’s, the children are home. Everything is built around learning, caring and community, and it shows.

She’s great at sending updates and pictures, and takes notes about what she and the children get up to each day, whether it’s to to Horniman or the pet store!

Even though we’re not with Kiwi’s anymore (just a circumstance change on our part!), our son routinely asks about ‘Rai’ and when we can see her.

I would highly recommend Kiwi’s to anyone!

I used Kiwis care club for over a year.

The Nyarai and staff are very competent and informative. This made me feel assured. I felt my child was always safe and well looked after. With both educational and fun activities being provided.

My child was fed during the time to which there was a good verity of well-balanced options.

For me the most important virtue was the staff’s friendliness. Both myself and my child were always met with a smile.

Thank you!

My daughter started attended Kiwi's Care Club a few months shy of her second birthday. At the time, she did not have a very good relationship with food, as well as having number of food related issues. She was unwilling to try anything new, sticking to only a few familiar foods. Nyarai was not only able to introduce her to new foods, but got her to eat whole meals. She encouraged good eating habits, whilst taking her food sensitivities into consideration. Nyarai also offered advice on improving home meal times, including giving us recipes for meals my daughter enjoyed, whilst in the setting. When it was time to potty train, Nyarai discussed with me what I would like to do and if I felt my daughter was ready. We talked about the best way forward and what practices she uses in the setting, so we could jointly work together, to make the transition as smooth as possible. This worked amazingly, as we were able to potty train her in one month. The children regularly visit local libraries and Lewisham Market. This also includes the local parks, where in the summer they have picnics, as well as visits to Horniman Museum. Nyarai has proved to be invaluable, in helping to nurture and facilitate my daughter’s development.
