Magical nanny

Annie has been with us since last November, when my youngest little girl was 6 months old, just switching to bottle feeding, and my eldest girl had just turned 3. I was a bit apprehensive about starting back at work when Winnie was still so young, but after Annie's first day with us, that totally disappeared :) Annie is extremely capable and has had a lovely relationship with my little ones from day one. She is kind, gentle and patient; always taking the time to listen properly & to understand when they are frustrated or upset. She's also full of smiles & fun - I often hear lots of giggling coming from downstairs! - and creates a happy, easy going atmosphere every day, playing games with them, colouring, singing along to music, cooking etc. She has been proactive in finding local toddler groups to take them to, along with trips to the park or further afield to the seaside etc in summer. Annie helps us with the kids washing and clothes, cooking and tidying - if we haven't managed to sort the supermarket shop for a week, she's adept at pulling together a meal, or taking the kids to the supermarket/market which they love. She stopped working with us from April - June whilst there was a pause with my work, and even after a couple of months Elowen would randomly ask, hopefully..."Is it an Annie Day today?!" We're so glad that the timings were right that she could join us for my work project Part 2! She's greeted with big hugs every morning & waved off at bedtime - we feel very lucky to have found her. Annie has also helped to develop Winnie's baby sign language too, which has been very helpful & lovely to see.

Lovely Babysitter

Annie was our babysitter for a few months until she moved away. Our 7 year old daughter absolutely loved her - fun, always highly engaged with our daughter from the moment she came in, punctual, respectful and a genuinely lovely lady! Highly recommended.
