Incredible Childminding Service-Sophie Is Amazing

There is a reason why it is so hard to get a space at Sophie Lucas childminding - she is highly skilled, caring and patient with the children. You can tell that Sophie gets genuine joy from looking after the children - her activities are always exciting, engaging and help the children learn such a variety of skills. My daughter absolute adores Sophie (you can see her screaming for her everyday on the school run even though she is now in Year R - we still use her service for after school clubs because my daughter would not cope without her in her life). The friendships that Sophie has helped to cultivate and grow for my daughter, with her own daughters and other children using her service, have been wonderful, kind and extremely rewarding for my child.

I wasn't much of a fan of childminding services before finding Sophie - I always felt nurseries were better but now I feel the complete opposite way around. I recommend her to every parent I meet who is looking for help and wouldn't send my child anywhere else.

Real care

My son is not an easy, go to anyone kind of child - yet Sophie has nurtured him and cared for him in a way that surpassed my wildest wishes. She has given him skills I couldn't and taught him things that I wouldn't know how to begin with. He is a bright, happy and confident boy who has utterly flourished under her care and guidance. I use Sophie as an example to encourage others to look for childminders when nursery doesn't work for their child - she is the best childminder. There is structure, fun and real individual attention given to each child and the level of detail and love put into the every day, is just fantastic.

couldn’t have asked for better

Sophie is an AMAZING childminder and I don’t say that lightly! We came to sophie after our last childminder had a change of career and we were not disappointed. Theo has grown to adore sophie and her children. He always misses going to sophie whenever there’s been a holiday break. My son is VERY active and needs to be kept busy constantly. Sophie takes the kids out every day and is always planning fun activities for them. The best thing about our experience with Sophie, is how updated we are kept throughout. Every evening we collect Theo, we are sent a detailed summary of what Theo ate, when he slept, what he did etc. followed by pictures. This is done every day without fail. We found this a far superior experience to other child minders and nursery. She is honestly great at what she does. Would recommend sophie to anybody.
