Alba was an excellent maths tutor for our son, Ben, over the 18 months she worked with him at our home. She was always punctual and reliable, and her teaching style was both engaging and effective.
When she started tutoring Ben in Year 4, he lacked confidence in maths and often found it challenging. However, through her patient and encouraging approach, he not only improved significantly but also developed a genuine enjoyment for the subject. By the time she went on maternity leave in Year 6, maths had become one of his strongest subjects.
Alba had a wonderful way of making lessons both structured and enjoyable, using different techniques that really helped concepts ‘click’ for Ben - many of which he still remembers and applies today. She was also incredibly patient when he struggled to focus, gently keeping him on track without making him feel pressured.
We are so grateful for the positive impact she had on Ben’s learning and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a dedicated and talented tutor.

Alba looks after our two little boys (4 and 2 years old) occasionally. From the first time they get on really well and my boys are always so excited to see her! She takes care of them properly, entertains them, and reads stories together. They have so much fun! Thank you Alba for your help and we can't recommend you and your service enough!

We were seeking a Spanish-speaking babysitter and were very happy to have met Alba. From the very first meeting we got a great vibe from her and our children accepted her immediately. We arranged our first session for a Friday evening, with Alba having to manage our two young children (ages 1 and 3) including putting them to bed for the very first time. We arrived home to a quiet home, with both children asleep and the dog curled up comfortably on his bed. Clearly, she has done this before! Very happy with her professionalism, communication, feedback for the evening, and would recommend her unreservedly. We will definitely will be booking her again.
