Luisa is fabulous. I simply couldn't do my job without her.
When my situation suddenly changed Luisa worked with me to provide flexible childcare, facilitating me to continue working.
My son has been going to Luisa's overnight whilst I work nightshifts for 18 months now. Not only is she providing an essential service for me she excels in doing so.
My son was settled from our very first visit when he was reluctant to leave!
What is not to love when I know my son is well cared for. Luisa easily manages his food intolerances and has a wonderful rapport with him. He is happy in her excellent setting within their family home, her delightful dogs, plentiful play facilities inside and outside in a large garden.
My son especially loves the opportunity to play with other children of all ages. Not to mention that he sleeps perfectly there too, on a bed comfier than his own apparently!
I would say Luisa has gone above and beyond making communication, drop offs and collections seamless. Even providing support and friendly advice when I have needed it most.
If you are looking for exemplary childcare especially during unsociable hours I can't recommend Luisa enough.

Luisa provides an excellent service to our son. I contacted her after we were let down by another provider and was given her details by a friend who had recommended her. She was very accommodating and invited us round a few days later. We immediately felt comfortable in her home, but more importantly, our son started playing in the garden straight away and didn't want to leave. She has fantastic facilities for children of many ages as well as a great garden space for outdoor play. Our son has been welcomed into the family and enjoys breakfast and dinner there, and it is great knowing that he has had a delicious homemade meal for dinner! Luisa is very friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with; is often like chatting to a friend at pick up time as she is so easy going and friendly! She is also very flexible and has offered to help out when we have needed her at the last minute. I would highly recommend Luisa as she is fantastic with our son and it is lovely knowing he is going from home to home each day.

Luisa provides an excellent childcare service. After having to find a new childcare provider at very short notice I was given Luisa^s number by recommendation. She was very flexible and impressed me her professionalism.
My son was approaching an age when he had begun to become disengaged with childcare. However after just a few days at Luisa' s it was clear that he was having a whale of a time enjoying a range of activities inside and out. I cannot recommend her enough..

My daughter has been with Luisa and her family for over a year now. I am a single parent, a student nurse and also hold down a job. Both my placements and employment are long and out of usual hours. Luisa and I work together to cover my childcare needs. She is very flexible, offers overnight care and tries to help me wherever she can. Fantastic communication, approachable and my daughter feels like one of the family and never wants to leave. Luisa cooks for the children and surprisingly to me, my daughters eats (usually a fussy eater). If the children are not at school, she will get them out in the fresh air, learning and burning off some much needed energy!
Couldn't recommend enough, so if you are looking for childcare which isn't in your usual 9-5 then this is where you need to be.

Having no family locally, finding the best childminder possible was our priority when I returned to work and we found that in Luisa. My baby started with her at 9 months and 4 months on, the change in my once very clingy baby is just amazing. He now literally jumps into her arms as she opens the door on a morning. It really is a lovely family environment with pets and children of all ages. Luisa does a variety of activities with my baby and takes him to different classes during the week. My husband and I work shifts and Luisa is always very accommodating and makes us both being at work easier knowing that he is so well cared for. Luisa provides me with an update throughout the day about how James is and sends me photos of the various adventures they have got up to and each day sends me a daily diary which is a great help knowing what he’s eaten, how he’s slept etc. We couldn’t ask for more from her and feel so lucky that we found her to care for our baby when we can’t be there

My daughter attends Luisa's two days a week and she loves it. Her home is always clean and warm and they are many activities and toys for children to enjoy. Luisa is caring and compassionate and makes you feel at ease. She is responsive to the children's needs and receptive to feedback. I was really nervous about leaving my daughter when I returned to work but Luisa made it an easy transition and I couldn't thank her enough. She has a lovely family and she makes you feel a part of it. Outstanding childminder and I look forward to my daughter making many more memories whilst in her care.

Luisa has been a full day childminder on a weekly basis to our 2 girls for many years, from ages 1-7. I am truly lucky to have found such a marvellous childminder. Luisa has welcomed our children into her home and family and the girls have made strong friendships with her children and other visiting children. I had confidence in Luisa from our very first trial session. She puts 100% into the care of the children. The home and garden facilities are a paradise for children's imaginations. Food is carefully prepared and considerate to the children whilst staying nutritious. Special events, local visits and activities are planned to expand the children's horizons and fill the day with fun. I have seen all types of happy smiling photographs regularly relayed to us which speak volumes in themselves and also a weekly planner explaining what the children have been up to and also eaten during the day. The girls have loved playing with the family animals and taking the dogs for walks with Luisa. I have seen an immense boost in the confidence of my children during their time with Luisa and there is always lots of giggles when they tell me all about it when returning home. The care from Luisa has had such a positive impact on our young family life that the memories will remain and be cherished. I would thoroughly recommend Luisa to anyone considering a childminder, she is wonderful with all ages and her long term care is outstanding.

Luisa is an amazing childminder, my son has only been with Luisa for 6 months and his development has come on greatly. My son’s speech has improved so much since having much more one to one time. He can now have a conversation with me and he often tells me about the things he’s done during his day. Luisa takes him to a weekly music class where he has learnt many songs and actions. I often hear him singing the songs at home, the class has helped improve his speech & communication, along with his overall confidence. Luisa is always teaching him to communicate in such a positive and helpful way. He is now very confident at washing his own hands, putting on his own shoes and taking away his own plate and even scraping the leftovers into the bin, which at just 2 & half I think this is amazing!
This is the first time I’ve used a childminder, and I would definitely recommend using Luisa, the home from home environment is perfect, my son is often running around Luisa’s home just like it’s his own, he feels very comfortable and enjoys the company of the other children. He has very special bond with both of Luisa’s children who are both brilliant with him, Luisa’s daughter has been showing my son her gymnastic moves, which he now shows me at home. Both children have a very natural bond with him, and treat him like he’s a member of their family.
There is an excellent selection of well-organized toys & games, and a dedicated toy/play room, as well as a lovely conservatory that children can play/relax in. Luisa also has a dedicated room for children to sleep in which ensures your child can have a nap when needed in a very quiet and calm environment. The garden is amazing, full of gorgeous natural resources that help the children develop and learn, there is plenty of space for the children to run around and be creative. Luisa is always coming up with new creative ideas for her home and garden, I especially love the bug hotel in the garden.
Luisa provides lovely home cooked food and my son actually eats much better with her than at home. The children sit at the table and all eat their dinner’s together and Luisa is always encouraging engagement between the children, they are good at communicating with each other and myself when I collect my son. I often hear about their school day or the activities they have been up to which is lovely to hear.
Luisa is also very safety conscious, when my son is walking he will always be on the inside furthest away from the traffic. He is very aware of the dangers of roads and even at 2 and a half he knows to not run off and is very careful around traffic. Luisa communicates so well will my son and she is very kind and loving with him if he gets upset or misses me. Luisa has a fantastic bond with my son and she helps and encourages very part of his development and social skills.
Overall, I can’t fault Luisa, the setup is fantastic, the highlight of my working day is receiving beautiful pictures and videos of the fun activates they have been getting up to. One of my favorite pictures so far was when Luisa took my son to a pumpkin farm on Halloween, he carved his own spider pumpkin, he was so excited to show me, and so proud of his achievement. He spend the day in the fresh air and open space playing and experiencing a new environment which is something that he wouldn’t of got to do if he’d stayed at a nursery. I am so pleased I decided to move him, it was definitely the right decision for his personality.

My son and daughter (aged five and nine respectively) have been going to Luisa for around a year. They love going to see Luisa and enjoy spending time after school and during some school holidays.
I had never used a childminder before Luisa and worried that I may be let down last minute but it has never happened. Luisa has been 100% reliable and takes excellent care of my children's needs. The children get a good cooked meal and enjoy time playing and doing homework, which Luisa helps with. This is a really big help when time after school is limited as a working parent.
I would definitely recommend Luisa and suggest having a chat to her about your individual requirements. She always does her best to accommodate.

Luisa has welcomed my son into her home so warmly and because of this, he settled in really quickly and looks forward to his time at her house. There are lots of lovely toys to play with, as well as a fantastic garden to play in (encouraged whatever the weather which is important!) and Luisa really encourages creativity and craft activities which is exactly what I look for in a childminder!
My son has enjoyed homecooked food which is brilliant after a full day at school! I am not quite sure how she manages it especially as the house is so tidy! I think she has clear boundaries in the house which is so healthy for children.
Being at Luisa's house has also made my son more confident with dogs, he began being quite afraid of Marley however now he strokes him and just isn't aware of him (this was within 2 weeks).
I have been more than happy with Luisa's care and would recommend her to anyone.
