I have been using Jackie for 18 months, since July 2023 when my son was 15 months old, he started with just 1 day per week but this has increased to 3 days per week. What was a big positive for us was that I could drop him off at 7am so it didn’t interfere much with work and we couldn’t find any other childminders or nurseries that allowed that early morning drop off. Jackie is also accommodating with extra days, some at short notice, if required.
Jackie’s setting is a homely environment and she has been very welcoming and accommodating since the start. We immediately took a liking to Jackie when we met her the first time, even so that we didn’t meet any other childminders and asked to sign up ASAP. It was nice to know that my son was going from a home to home setting. Jackie is very motivated in progressing milestones and giving praise when required. She does lots of arts and crafts for all different cultural holidays, remembers keys dates throughout the year and makes an effort to encourage my son to join in on making little gifts for family members. I get updates on his progress, as well as photos of his activities. Jackie takes the children to a play group, days out to the park or woods for exploring which my son gets very excited about. There are home cooked meals prepared each day and Jackie has managed to get my son to eat some foods he refuses to eat at home!
Invoices are sent with clear explanation about how the costs are worked out with the government funding and Jackie is happy to answer any questions if required.
We are reluctantly having to move childcare due to moving house and the logistics not being feasible anymore. We are gutted to be leaving as my son loves going to Jackie’s house. He speaks at home about Jackie and all the people he meets when visiting there.
We will all miss Jackie very much, can’t recommend her enough.

Our son was with Jackie for a bit more than 1 year. Everything was really good with her, making a lot of activities and fresh food everyday. She was always sending photos and giving updates. Our son was very happy with her, we highly recommend her.

My little girl was going to Jackie 2 times a week. She absolutely loved going to see her. Jackie always had time to talk to me at drop off and pick up and would make tome to talk to my son as well, who is school age and wasn't in her care. She remembered important dates and made us feel comfortable and included in my daughters care. 10 out of 10, I honestly can't recommend her enough.

Our little boy has just finished his time with Jackie to start his journey in Reception. He has been with her for 3 years and my god we are going to miss her! There is no other way to describe Jackie other than the best! The best childminder and we are so thankful we found her. From his first day, Arthur has received the most amazing care and attention. The range of activities she offers is impressive, from the most imaginative arts and crafts to all of the days out. The children have a homemade cooked meal everyday and there is so much variety. She goes above and beyond everyday, and always with a smile on her face. Every Christmas, birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter we received handmade gifts from Arthur and they always had so much effort put into them and they were always perfect. Arthur’s development whilst in Jackie’s setting was exceptional. He learnt so much and she made sure he did everything she could to prepare him for his next step in school. Also, Jackie was so supportive and flexible to us as parents, helping us out when needed and as a first time mum she has always offered me valuable advice when I had a concern about Arthur. I honestly cannot recommend her enough. Over the years, she became more than a childminder, the love and care she showed Arthur was similar to that of a grandparent and it was such a comfort to know he was in such good hands. I am pregnant with my second child and I am hoping that when the time comes, Jackie has the availability to provide childcare when I go back to work. Thank you Jackie!

We are very lucky to have found Jackie to look after our daughter. Our daughter has been with Jackie for about 9 months and she loves it. We are sadly leaving Jackie as our daughter is moving on to preschool.
Jackie is very kind, caring and loves my daughter like her own. My daughter would come home with lovely artwork on all special occasions.
Jackie is very organised and plans various outdoor activities including messy church play, visiting the park etc and various activities while at home.
All meals are freshly cooked which most childminders do not provide.
Jackie always kept us updated with lovely photos.
Jackie is very accommodating and supportive. I highly recommend Jackie as a childminder. She is amazing.

My younger son has been with Jackie since last November when he was 2 years old. He settled very well and it was great experience where his language improved a lot. Jackie brought him to activities in the church or playground if the weather was good. Have to say goodbye in early May that I need to take my son back home country and he will be in preschool from September. We would highly recommend Jackie for your consideration.

My son is 3 and has been going Jackie's for the last 6months he was 2 when he started after we had to change childminders due to her giving us her notice so not an easy adjustment for a child. Jackie made us all feel welcome and treats jaxson like her own grandchild, preparing home cooked meals for him included in the costs, goes out on trip with he children, and themed weeks of what they are learning and activities were updated on monthly. I'm always receiving pictures of all the fun stuff they get up to and know my little man is happy on safe hands, I only wished I found Jackie when I had my first child. I know jaxson will miss going to jack jack's (Jackie's) but hes starting nursery in September for him next steps. We're all going to miss Jackie and Steve thank you for having out little monster :)

My two little girls now 7 & 3 have attended Jackie’s setting for almost two years, and is are only moving on for the youngest to start nursery. Both of them love going to Jackie’s. She always sets up a variety of activities including crafts, playgroup visits, trips to the park etc. The children are always kept busy and Jackie communicates each month with the plans and what she intends to cover with the children. I have never had any issues and the children are extremely happy there. We are very sad to leaving :( we will kiss you Jackie xx

My son is with Jackie's for a few months now and he always like it there. They do alot of arts and crafts as well as outing to parks and nearby airport to see airplanes(with permission) . Its good to know what they've been doing since I get email with pictures update frequently.
Would like to stay with her for longer but had to leave due to personal circumstances change. Highly recommended this lovely lady!

Jackie has been looking after my son for the last six months.
She dropped him off to school (Crown Wood primary) every day and would pick him up.
Her time is structured and organized by doing things that will help in with children’s growth and development.
She takes the kids outs and plan fun activities if at home with them.
All food is included in their hourly rate which is also reasonable compared to other childminders in the area.
Jackie really put me at ease when I had to go back to work which meant a lot that I didn’t feel the need to worry.
I would absolutely recommend Jackie as a great and reliable childminder.

My son has been with Jackie for two years. He just had his last day with her as he is starting pre-school. I could not recommend Jackie more. My son has loved it and his development has been amazing.
Jackie is very good with special occasions, everyone in my family have loved the presents/cards my son and Jackie have made over the years.
I loved seeing what they had been up to with the journal Jackie provides. I now have this to keep and its amazing.
I will 100% be using Jackie again if I have another child.

Jackie has been childminding my son since the 1st April 2019.
I have been extremely happy with the care he has received, and the great progress he has made.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise
He created a cup plate, and a card to his Daddy for Father’s Day.
My son likes Jackie and every time ( even the weekend) , he asks me when he will go to see her.
I would absolutely recommend Jackie as a great and reliable childminder

My son absolutley loved his time at Jackies and always came back very happy. He was always coming home wigh lovely little things he had made and Jackie never forgot a birthday or special occasion. I always looked forward to having his dairy home for the weekend to see everything he had done.
The whole service was amazing, Jackie always kept me up to date with everything they were learning and my son was getting alone with everything and everyone. I trust Jackie 100% and always felt comfotable leaving my son with her. she would definatly be my first choice next time around, i would highly recomend.

I am glad to leave a review for Jacki. She was the first childminder we met and I knew I did not have to look any more. I am glad I took that call. My son is always happy at Jackie's setting and has learned a lot with Jackie. I appreciate that her focus is not only to take care of the kids but also to teach them basis their age.
My son loves eating at Jackie's setup, he might not eat at home but the chances are he will still eat with Jackie.
I love and appreciate the art and craft Jackie does with kids and sends them home. It is a pleasure to know that your child is not sitting their watching tele but doing things that will help in his growth.
I totally trust Jackie with my son and appreciate that she always keeps him and his comfort first, At time when I have been late due to unforeseeable circumstances, she has been extremely supportive and understanding.
Jackie will always be my first choice as child minder for my son and will highly recommend her.

My sons time with Jackie has been lovely! Jackie is a very loving, friendly and caring person with a lovely family! My son always came back very happy :) I love all the creative bits and bobs he came back with and hearing about what they have been up too.

I am so happy to write a review regarding our experience with Jacki. She was the first childminder we had for our twin daughters (age 5), my daughters were so happy when we go to pick them. And always they love to go there, and spend time there. we rate her a fantastic childminder, because,
1. My daughters were happy, and safe all the time.
2.My daughters love her foods, they always came home in the night after lovely meal, and they were telling us it was yummy...everyday
3.My daughters spent only few hours per day, after school, even though that is very little time my daughters always make something creative, a drawing , a craft and they bring it home. we have a lovely collection at home now..Thank you Jacki..
4. Jacki always take my daughters to the local special events, parks so my kids were really enjoying with her
5. she always up to date with special events, days, and she always make something new with kids.
6.After all she is very reliable, flexible and trustworthy childminder who provide genuine child care..She was really helpful when we needed child care out of the plan, she always helped us.
She always communicate with us in every steps, when my kids need special attention due to accidents in school / illness.
Unfortunately we are moving away from the area soon, so my daughters really miss her. She is a childminder who really worth..
I am really happy to recommend her, for anybody who thinks to choose her as, childminder.

Jackie is an absolutely fantastic Childminder and I am so happy to have found her when I moved to the area with my little girl. Children in Jackie's setting basically become a part of the family and my daughter has really benefited from the range of activities and projects that Jackie has done with them. My house is full of gorgeous examples of these projects! I love the Jackie keeps us as parents up to date and look forward to "the big book" coming home filled with pictures, photos and little summaries of my daughter's time with her. I would have happily kept my daughter with Jackie but unfortunately due to relocation (work related) we have had to move out the area. Jackie will be very hard to replace as a Childminder and will truly be missed.
