Wonderful

Both of my children have attended Joanne’s, my eldest went when he had struggled at a different setting, Joanne was so welcoming and kind he settled in straight away it was amazing. My youngest attends and has a lovely time and has made friends with the other children , he comes home each day telling me about the great things he has done. Joanne provides a very caring environment , has a great rapport with the children I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Highest Recommendation

I have two children that have attended Happy Day childminding over the past five years. As our circumstances have changed so have the hours/days of care and Joanne has always been flexible and accommodating.
My daughter started with Joanne in 2017 after trying a couple of different nursery settings. She settled in very quickly and absolutely thrived under Joanne’s care. So it was the obvious choice when my son was also ready to start childcare.
Joanne develops play and learning around the EYFS framework and I am kept up to date with my childrens progression with photos and evidence sent home - in addition to the daily update recorded in their day books. She regularly encourages pencil control activities along with colouring, crafts and painting. Happy Days is an active setting with days out to local parks, organised sports days, teddy bear picnic, local play groups, visits to the library and so on.
Joanne plans a varied and nutritious menu and often manages to convince my son to eat things he would never try at home!
Joanne has such a wealth of experience that I often ask for her advice on all manner of things that inevitably arise with young children. She’s open and friendly and incredibly easy to talk to. I have been very happy with my children’s care and feel very lucky to have been recommended Happy Days Childminding those 5 years ago!

The BEST childminder!!

Both my children went to Happy Days childminding from the age of approx 10 months old and stayed until they went to school. A total of 6.5 years of knowing Jo and I couldn't of asked for anyone better to have cared for my kids. True home from home which is all I ever wanted. We knew from the minute we first visited that she was the one. They thrived there and learnt so much. They loved going and we were sad when our time came to leave. You won't be disappointed if you chose Joanne 🥰

Fantastic

Both my little boy's go to happyday childminding for 4 days a week, they started when 3months old and are now 2yrs and 1yr old. They both have a dairy allergy but it's never been an issue at happyday childminding and they are catered for according meaning they never miss out, even on party days like Christmas and Easter.
They love it, Jo is fantastic with them. They do lots of fun activities, attend play groups, trips to the park and much more. They absolutely adore her pets and learn so much. She is very friendly, nurturing and she has a wealth of experience. I highly recommend happydays childminding.
