Outstanding Childminder

Charlene watched my toddler daughter while we were staying in Ely for just a week on holiday from the US. Charlene could not have been more flexible, cheerful, helpful, or loving in her time with my daughter. Even though it was for a lot of hours all of a sudden, and my daughter had not been familiar with Charlene or her home, she was obviously very comfortable right away, especially with Charlene's own children. Charlene was completely flexible and able to drop off my daughter to me on several occasions, which saved me a huge amount of time as I was without a car. Her crowning triumph was when I invited Charlene to come with my daughter to hear Evensong in the cathedral (I was there singing with the choir). We sang that afternoon in the Lady Chapel, a small space with a loud echo. When I didn't see them there, I thought perhaps they hadn't been allowed in because my daughter would be likely to make a lot of unwanted noise. However, after the service, I discovered they had been right behind me the whole time: Charlene, her lovely young school-age daughter, and my noisy toddler, who had made not a peep during the quiet 45 minute service. How she was able to pull this off I have no idea, but she certainly has magic! I recommend Charlene without hesitation if you are looking for childminder in Ely. I hope we meet again!
