Amazing Childminders

Both of my children went to Dawn and Ian's from the age of 7/8 months to 4 years old when they started school. From the moment of meeting them I felt relaxed and highly recommend them as childminders.

They have a great setting with dedicated indoor space as well as fantastic outdoor area which they utilise as much as possible (weather dependent!). They provide a great balance of early years learning as well as getting out and about and exploring.

I always dropped my children off knowing that they were in a safe and caring environment and would be updated during the day by photos of what adventures they had been on. My children still talk about some of these now and have great memories of their time with Dawn and Ian.

Exceptional child care

My daughter has been going to Dawn and Ian since she was 1 year old. She is sadly now leaving to attend reception at school. Ian and Dawn have been so supportive during our time with them, with their combined wealth of knowledge and experience, they have supported us so much as a family over the years. They have a well thought out setting with a very large range of toys which is continually ever evolving. They have an amazing out door play area to match. They are not stay in doors kind of people. They love to get the children out exploring and investing all different environments. I always love seeing what adventures they have been up to with the regular picture story up dates. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and is 100% ready for reception. They are a very flexible, understand, supportive team. We highly recommend them. Thank you for every thing you have done over the years.

Fantastic childminders

My son was cared for by Dawn and Ian for around 3 years and is now leaving to start reception. Dawn and Ian are fantastic, they are always out exploring the world with the children along with a good variety of toys and resources at home. The garden area is also brilliant. From the moment I met them I always felt at ease leaving by my son in there care. My son has grown and developed whilst with Dawn and Ian and both him and me will miss them terribly. I can’t thank them enough for the care and support over the years. I highly recommend them.

Excellent Childminders

My children have attended Dawn & Ian's childminders for the last 6 years (and continue to do so in school holidays). I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their setting is always clean and tidy with a dedicated area for a variety of children's toys and activities as well as a fully equipped garden. These toys and activities are just the right balance of fun and educational. One of the things I especially enjoy is the out-and-about time; they seem to go for a walk/adventure every other day (weather permitting).

Dawn is a friendly and energetic person who put me at ease with her kind, trustworthy, professional manner. The children really enjoy Ian's sense of humour and it is refreshing to have a couple working together. Both my children enjoy attending and have lots of stories to tell me when I pick them up.
