5 stars are not enough for Ruth! We couldn’t be happier with the care that she provides for our son. He settled instantly at Ruth’s and has loved every day with her since.
Ruth’s planning is meticulous, from menu planning to weekly and holiday outings - there isn’t a second for a child to be bored! I have zero guilt having to leave him to go to work a few days each week as I know he is having the absolute BEST time with Ruth.
We get daily updates and pictures, which is so lovely to be able to see what they are getting up to, and more days than not our son arrives home with crafts or little thoughtful gifts from Ruth (yesterday he arrived home with a pot of jam he made with Ruth after picking blackberries in her garden). Ruth has 2 grown up sons, so she isn’t caring for her own children at the same time. She has been so flexible and nothing is too much trouble. Our little boy had some delays in walking and Ruth has done everything she can to do the exercises and advice given by physios to get him on his feet quick! Her OFSTED outstanding grades are so deserved (and rare to see) and speak volumes for the effort she puts into providing the best care for our little people. I would recommend without any hesitation - I think she is Superwoman!

Ruth has looked after my little one for a number of years and he loves spending time with her and the other children that she cares for. She is so organised and offers some really good trips and events during the school holidays.

Both my daughters have been with Ruth since age 4 (they are now 11 and 7). We have always been totally satisfied with Ruth’s care and our children love attending her house.
Being at Ruth’s with other children of all ages gives mine exposure to interacting with younger children and has made things like the transition to Junior School much easier as they were already used to playing with older children who went there.
Ruth always has many activities arranged, often themed around events or celebrations, and my children come home with armfuls of craft, puzzles, worksheets, baking etc.
Ruth is always meticulous in preparing appropriate policies and following guidance. Her communication with parents is excellent and we enjoy seeing photos of what our children have been up to.
Ruth is incredibly positive and has so much energy and enthusiasm for her work. We were very lucky to find her!

My 3 children were looked after by Ruth for more than 7 years.
Ruth is an absolutely amazing childminder who is full of energy and enthusiasm. She is extremely caring and nurturing. She plans meticulously, whether it is the menu for the week or the activities that she organizes. There is no time for the children to get bored. Her holiday itinerary is legendary in terms of the variety of activities she organizes.
My children have always been safe in her care. They have always loved going to see Ruth and have had a lot of fun with her. We have now moved away and we all miss her! I have no hesitation in recommending Ruth to anyone.

Ruth has been childminding my children now for around 7 years in total. I have nothing but praise for her and my kids absolutely adore her, which for me is so vital and says it all really!!
The loving care she provides is next to none in terms of her nurturing home environment, clear and best practice policies and great communication with us as parents. Additionally she is always full of new and exciting opportunities for them and amazing activities. They are always bringing home lovely bits and pieces of arts and crafts for us that she’s organised and helped them make, such as for Mother’s Day.
Her holiday plans of activities are fantastic too and are always varied and fun. She does loads of outdoor activities as well either just in her garden or much further afield, such as the seaside!
She is great at celebrating each child as an individual and working with parents if they have any particular concerns. And finally, her meals are really nutritious, home-cooked and varied. My kids will eat anything she makes (but not at my house!!). Honestly I don’t know how she does it all. I think she’s some kind of super woman!!
We are so grateful to her for the wonderful care and development she’s offered to them and feel so grateful that we have her! We’d recommend her wholeheartedly.

Ruth has cared for all 3 of my children at various points over the last 8 years, my youngest has been with her all of this time. Ruth is absolutely amazing, the care she gives the children is wonderful. She always has something exciting planned, whether it be a trip out to a farm, playground or making mince pies before school at Christmas time! All of my children have benefitted from her love and care and it is plain for all to see that Ruth loves the children as much as they love her. I thank my lucky stars that I found Ruth all those years ago!

Ruth has been looking after my 2 boys (2&4) for nearly a year and I couldn’t be happier with her care.
She’s considerably warm and friendly, and my boys settled with her very easily.
Their days are full of fun and activities and lots of outings too. They bring home lots of artwork and memories.
Ruth has taken them on walks and to the library and indoor soft play to name a few.
Ruth cooks them hearty dinner and gives them healthy snacks!👍🏻
Most recently in lockdown 2020 Ruth rode her bike to all children’s houses and popped bags of things to do in this crazy time on our door steps!
Can’t write how happy we are with Ruth’s care for my children. They couldn’t be happier with her.

Ruth has looked after both my children and I was overwhelmed with the love and support she gave them. There is always something fun to do at Ruth's house where she incorporates learning and development for the children and loves them like they were her own. There is always healthy food and snacks for them to eat which is also vital in I cannot emphasise enough the wealth of knowledge and experience she has. its like home from home and would not want my children going anywhere else. All the fun stuff the kids bring home with them from pictures,and sunflowers to Mince pies - truly an unsung hero!
