The absolute best!

When we found Mona she was an absolute godsend. She was with us for only three months because she already had another contract starting from then on, we really wish we could have kept her and miss her sorely.

When Mona started, our daughter was 14 months and we had had one awful experience with a childminder by that point, whom we left after five days because of their methods and approach. That experience had left us traumatised and unsure how to find a good childcare setting or trust in our judgement. We interviewed several nannies, resolved to search until we find someone just right. When we saw Mona, the way she interacted with our daughter on that very first meeting, and how our daughter took to her right away, the cliché "you'll just know" became true.

Mona was someone I had complete confidence in. Her sincerity and kindness, her warmth, her respect for and deep sensitivity and responsiveness to the child, their personality and needs, are unparalleled. As is her adaptability and patience. With some nannies, you see their personality take centre stage and you wonder whether that is compatible with the child. With Mona it was the opposite -- she let our daughter be the centre, be herself and develop at her pace, she listened and watched, gently guided and encouraged, provided a safe, loving space built solidly on their engaging interaction and created days that were built around our daughter's interests and needs. Our daughter flourished with her, I could see that she was happy and relaxed, could see her learning new things, words, sign-language, trying new things, I could see Mona adapting to her -- and our -- needs. I could also see the clear bond between them, which grew so fast. Mona became one of the family. I couldn't wish for anything more in a nanny. To me, a first-time mother, Mona was a source of invaluable advise, help and reassurance. She prepared lunches for our daughter, deferring to how we wanted her to eat, and left the kitchen cleaner than she found it. She took our daughter on fun days out in the park, in the library, at play groups, tailoring her days carefully. If we needed her to come earlier or stay later, that was never a problem. Mona was extremely responsive, updating us regularly throughout the day and sending photos. Everything was easy, transparent and reassuring with her -- Mona really is the ideal nanny. We couldn't recommend her highly enough -- and would be very happy to answer any questions or chat.

The wonderful Mona

We have been sharing Mona for 2days a week with some of our friends. Mona looked after our now almost, 2 year olds— a boy and a girl— for the past year. The only reason we have had to change our arrangement is because I have had another baby and am on mat leave.
We feel so lucky to have found Mona. I was worried about leaving my little boy when i went back to work but having Mona made it so much easier. She is naturally very nurturing and extremely caring. From the moment i met her you could see how much she loves working with children. She is a fountain of knowledge and instinctive when it comes to looking after their needs. We honestly couldn’t have felt more comfortable heading off to work knowing they were in good hands, and importantly going to have a great day.
Mona makes it a priority to keep in touch throughout the day and takes plenty of photos so we can see what they are getting up to. The babies are always busy doing activities, at museums, in the local parks or playing with toys at home.
She is a skilled cook and makes sure the freezer is full of nutritious food and adapts to the tastes of the children as they grow and have preferences!
Importantly for us, Mona is very flexible. She is happy to go to drs appointments, stay a little later (if trains are running late) as well as do babysitting etc.
Mona’s experience sets her apart. As first time parents there were things that we actively sought her advice for, be that illness, a strange looking rash, or just general parenting advice. Her advice and opinions were always gratefully received and made us feel a lot more relaxed!
We couldn’t recommend Mona more highly. She is completely trustworthy, professional and experienced. We wish she could have been part of our family for longer.

Incredibly lucky to have had her as our nanny

Mona has been our full time nanny for over a year and a half. To say we feel so lucky to have had her in our lives and in the lives of our girls is an understatement.

Mona had full care of our youngest now 2yrs old and picked our eldest up from school each day. Sole charge of both children during midterms and holiday times.

When she started working with us our youngest was 9 months old. Mona managed the transition for me back to work so smoothly. Helping and supporting the transition for my youngest. Helping her settle into the new routine very fast. Mona creates a calm and nurturing environment for the children.

What Mona brings to the table as nanny is exceptional. She exudes calmness and is super tuned into the children. Her genuine care and love for children comes out in all her actions and you can see this in how both my eldest and youngest engage with Mona. They both feel listened to, encouraged and supported in everything they do.

For our youngest she supports her development through local classes and meet ups with local nannies with similar age children. Mona has a strong network nannies locally so knows lots of playgrounds and classes.
She is also great at taking the children on very educational trips to some of London’s great sights for example the Maritime Museum, Transport Museum and Battersea Zoo to name but a few!!
Mona is a super cook and has cooked and prepared food for our girls throughout. Our fridge and freezer is always full of super nutritious meals for the children.

As a parent working out of the house and sometimes out of the country Mona always had super communication with us about what she is doing each day, how the girls have been and manages all the childrens sickness in her stride. Mona’s over 20 years of experience comes out in that nothing phases her.

In summary we know that our girls have benefited hugely from having Mona in their lives and we feel very lucky to have had her as part of our family.
