I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the incredible care that Pam has provided for our daughter over the past two years. From the very beginning, she created a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where our daughter has truly thrived. Pam’s thoughtful approach to learning, combined with a deep understanding of children's needs, has helped our daughter build confidence, independence, and social skills. We have seen remarkable progress in her language, creativity, and even problem-solving abilities, and much of this is thanks to the attentive and personalised care Pam has given. Our daughter has always been excited to spend time at Pam’s, and it’s clear she feels loved and supported in every way. Pam has also been incredibly reliable, flexible, and communicative, making the entire experience seamless for us as parents. Leaving our daughter in someone else's care was one of the most important decisions we had to make, and we could not have asked for a better person to entrust with that responsibility. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Pam in our lives and highly recommend her to any parent seeking the very best for their child.
Pam has been absolutely brilliant looking after our baby girl for the last 2 years. We could not have wished for a better childminder. From the first day Pam did everything in her power to ensure our LO settled in well. She even went so far as to picking our LO up every morning, as this seemed to be the least unsettling.
Once the settling in became a smooth process we just saw our LO flourish, taking her first steps, speaking her first words and learning to become independent. Every day Pam sends us an update of their daily outings and activities, with a food log and photos. These updates are so precious as you see what your baby has been up to every day. And on a regular basis we got an extensive developmental report covering all the relevant developmental milestones.
I think one of the things that really stood out for us with Pam are the sheer amount of activities and outings she plans with the kids to keep them engaged and to help them build a curiosity of the world around. Some of the regular outings are the forest school, the library, the Woodlands Farm and various children centres and groups. She does a weekly library trip, where our LO gets to check in her own books, pick new ones and checks them out herself. Which means we always had a host of new books to read at bedtime.
The forest school was also one of our LOs firm favourites. She got to dig muddy holes, paint trees with water and generally got the chance to do some good messy play.
We can’t recommend Pam more highly and any baby, toddler or child will be lucky to be looked after Pam with her kind, calm and loving manner.
Pam is taking care of our 2-year-old son since May 2015. We couldn't have been more lucky. My son settled in very well and developed wonderful relationships with children in Pam's care as well as herself and her family.
Pam is taking children to playgroups, forrest school, parks or playgrounds everyday and does the drop offs and pick ups from Brooklands Primary School. Children are encouraged to develop age appropriate skills and Pam pays close attention to skills that need more attention by presenting opportunities to practice and learn. My son has an exceptionally energetic and high strung personality but Pam manages his energy very well.
Pam is available during extended hours if need be and is committed to staying in excellent communication with us. Children eat a healthy variety of foods and stay healthy in Pam's care.
Overall, I would highly recommend this childminder and I know that once our son leaves her care we will miss her dearly, because she became such a close friend to our family.
