My daughter has been attending with Dee Dee for the past 6 weeks.
I have concerns my daughter is on the spectrum and I wasn’t sure about leaving her with anybody but family, she’s never been left with anybody else before and nursery was a disaster with huge melt downs.
Well, Dee Dee might aswell be family because she has been absolutely fantastic with my daughter.
It took a good few weeks for her to settle but Dee was patient and gave her as many cuddles and as much reassurance as she needed. My daughter wasn’t talking at all before attending and already now that she’s settling she’s starting to come out with all sorts and I’m so thankful to Dee for all she does to help her with this.
She keeps me updated all day long with plenty of pics, she’s honest about whether my daughter is having a good or bad day and she’s always got the biggest smile on her face.
She’s absolutely fantastic at what she does and I’m so thankful for finding her and so grateful for her taking on my daughter.
Thank you so much Dee, you really are the best!

As a parent, entrusting your children into someone else's care is a monumental decision. For c. two years, Denise was more than just a childminder for my twin sons; she was a pivotal part of our family's journey. My son has been attending Dee’s childminding for over a year, he has developed so much and enjoys his time there so much! He is always disappointed to leave and sees Dee as more of a family member than childminder. Will definitely be sending my expected child here too!

I came to Dee Dee needing a flexible childcare place immediately due to issues with a previous childcare setting. She was more than accommodating. Invited us over instantly to view her home and where the children would play. I have never looked back. My son absolutely loves going to Dee dees. Although I get updates daily in the form of messages and photos of what he’s been up to. I also get told by my son what he’s been up to and it’s always with a big smile on his face. Dee Dee is helpful and very down to earth. It feels like I’m dropping my son off with a family member not just some childcare setting. I feel 100% confident sending my child to her home and would highly recommend her. X

I unfortunately would not recommend this childminder to anyone with a child who is not able to communicate with you what’s happening in their day.
My son was attending at age 1 and I found many red flags throughout his months at the setting.
My son had a day were he unfortunately bit another child and was asked to leave the setting then banned from attending the day after but expected to pay.
Time being wasted sat in the minders car when 30minutes were still paid for in the day but waiting for me to arrive.
Just a very controlling setting and minder in my opinion not a lot of love for children more money focussed.

Considering your child stopped attending my setting over a year agoI’d say you have decided to write this false review based on the fact that you have just lost the court case where you was trying to defer the bill owing to myself and now have discovered you have court charges and the bill to pay thanks Denise
My son Charlie has been with Dee with since he was 10months old. He has learnt and developed so much and enjoys going to Dees he is now grown and confident to walk up the drive wave goodbye and go to Dee. I feel happy and confident in leaving my son with her.
They have great days feeding the ducks, playing outside, art and playing with the other children.
Each day I have an update of how Charlie has been what he has eaten if he has slept and general information. I even have updates of pictures which is lovely to see he is happy when I am not there.
I would highly recommend Dee as a childminder she is amazing and Charlie loves going to her.

this lady is absolutely amazing. I messaged Dee as i was stuck, she's straight away had my daughter whilst i went to work at last minute. I'd recommend this lady to every one.

D.dee looked after my son zayd for 2 1/2 years from the minute I interviewed her I knew she would be the 1 to look after zayd. She’s very caring and reliable, zayd was very happy each morning when I was dropping him off he would have a big smile on his face and his arms open 2 greet D.dee, which made it so much easier leaving him because I already felt guilty for leaving him. I got daily updates on what he had done and what development stages he was up to also what he had eaten ( I must say the food D.dee cooks is healthy and she cooks a range of foods so zayd used to get loads of different meals) through parents book which also had loads of pictures of what my zayd had been up to, which I enjoyed reading . I would highly recommend D.dee to parents who wish to send their child to a childminder you will not regret your decision and your child will be loved and well cared for .

Denise (AKA Neesy as both my little girl and boy used to call her!) has been wonderful with my children! She has not only helped them develop as children should according to 'the paper work', but has also been their to develop a relationship with my children so they feel secure and loved.
She has always been great with my awkward work timetable, being flexible with dates and times, and she would always tell me well in advance of any holidays that she was planning (which have always been minimal… even though she deserves a rest after all her hard work!)
With regards communication between Denise and myself, she regularly completes a daily diary. Within the diary she explains activities which the children have been doing, records meals they have eaten (or not eaten!), informs us of toileting (e.g. nappies wet/dirty, been on the potty wee/poo!) and adds photos of the days activities and adventures!
Her thoughtful approach to childminding is what helped us to make our initial decision to choose Denise when we were looking originally for my little boy. She seemed to have a lovely, caring attitude to her work. It wasn't simply a job, she wasn't bogged down with the paperwork… yes it was there and it was of a high standard… but the paperwork doesn't drive Denise… the children drive her!
My little girl loves Denise… there was one very lovely moment recently where she turned around to me and spontaneously announced, "Neesy is my best friend"!
We aren't having anymore children so unfortunatly, now the time has come for my little girl to move on, we've had to say goodbye to Neesy. But I would like everyone to know that Denise is an amazing lady, that opens her door to some lucky children that are experiencing a loving, caring, enriching and secure environment for them to develop into little people!
Please call her and you'll see what I mean!

I started taking my son to DDees 3 week ago, he wasn't use to being left with anybody and was a bit unsettled. She has constantly updated me wit pictures of him settled and calm, reassuring me! He is always well fed and clean when I pick him up and enjoys his days out.

My daughter currently attends dee dees . She is extremely accommodating with me doing shift work on different days. My lil girl adores here she is always making sure their busy with play n baking n crafts n a good mixture of going out too . She has gained lots of development skills too we work together regarding concerns or to help her development further with eating and learning . She fully enjoys her time at the setting n cries to stay . Would definitely recommend Denise.

i was in deseperate need of childcare for evenings and D watched my daughter and got on very well .. she was only with us a short time but in that time my daughter made a friends and still talks about her now . I would recomend D to any one lovely lady ..thanks for what u did for us xx

My son was 8 months old when he first started going to D'Dee's, I was extremely nervous about leaving him but Denise completely put me at ease messaging me through out the day to let me know how he was getting on. Denise stood out from the rest of the childminders, she is so down to earth and a lovely lady, my instincts was too choose her and I haven't regretted it since. My son comes home with a diary of his day to day activities which is always lovely to read, his diary is always full of photographs so we can see him enjoying himself, I would definitely recommend Denise as a child minder

D Dee is a fantastic childminder, honest caring easy to talk to. She is clearly passionate about what she does and this shows in how happy our 8 month old is. He is visibly excited smiley and kicks his legs when he sees her. His book is always full of info on his day, what he eats and how happy he is. We feel well informed of his day, and fully confident he is in safe hands. When viewing childcare providers Denise stood out for us as she does so many outdoor activities, and we knew we wanted him to be active. He comes home exhausted and extreemly happy.
Cannot recommend her enough!

My daughter has attended d dees short term for six weeks, while I have been recuperating from a hip op and my partner worked. It was our intention to keep her full time for six weeks then cut the hours down as I got better. Jemima has had mountains of fun, her development has been fantastic over the last couple of week and reading her daily diary is an absolute pleasure. The house is warm and friendly and the playroom well equipped and clean. The only issue we have is we felt that maybe we were a little bit penalised giving our notice after two weeks. We did explain that we wouldn't be getting any help off tax credits and Denise assured we would be able to use childcare vouchers. And that if she wasn't signed up to the company all it takes is a phone call to set up. The paperwork to set up the vouchers was sent twice to Denise from the voucher company and twice to ourselves. Denise hadn't received her copy, so we took our copy only to be told that she wouldn't deal with paper vouchers. After the initial meeting we both believe that Denise hadn't mentioned that she wouldn't take paper vouchers, although she was adamant that she had told us, neither myself nor my partner remembered her saying that. The website on childcare.co.UK was also changed coincidentally the morning that Denise told us she wasn't to give her bank details to the voucher company. We were paying full whack for childcare plus a £45 salary sacrifice after signing up for the vouchers in the first place, we just simply couldn't afford to carry on. I'm sorry we had a negative experience as it was a great place that Jemima enjoyed attending. There was also a slight issue with my daughter having tantrums while being dropped off by dad. She generally got upset being left in the mornings. Denise pulled my partner up and told him that other parents were ready to pull their children out of childcare due to her tantrums. Yet her daily diary stated that after five minutes she was fine and well behaved. I do believe that putting her into childcare helped her development no end, but a mix of personal issues and half truths just made us unwilling to carry on and soured our first experience of childcare.

The decision to place our son with D Dee was the best decision me and my Husband ever made. The setting is warm and welcoming and is filled with lots of toys D Dee is very friendly.Our son first went to D Dee at 6months old and he loves D Dee.
D Dee is very experienced and fun loving person and is very esay going. D Dee's daily routines exceeded those far more than what a nursery could offer.
Our son always came home happy and with lots of things he made and his daily book always had photos of his day.
All in all i would highly recommend D Dee to any parent if you are looking for quality childcare from somone who you can rely on trust and who will care for your child in a kind calm manner. Thank you D Dee love the kinders.

since my child has been attending D DEE"s shes been having a ball.
lots for the children to do, play with and made to feel at home.
D DEE is extremly reliable and i would recommend to anybody in need of childcare.

On our first visit Denise welcomed us into her home and happily showed us round. She was easy to talk to and I took to her personality instantly! Her setting is really homely and relaxed, there seems to be structure without it being over obvious... if that makes sense!?
Denise has made a seemingly difficult decision an easier one! My 1 year old will soon be going to D Dee's house... 'everyone always has fun at D Dee's!'. The emphasis there being on FUN.

I would highly recommend Denise to any parents who are looking for a childminder. She looks after my son full time and i couldnt say a bad word about her. They are always outside doing different activities and my son always comes home happy and content. Denise has been brilliant she comes out of her way to do a pick up and drop off and has been brilliant with her feedback and reasurence about what max has been up to and how hes settled in on a day to day basis.
I would highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter is looked after by Denise and i cant fault her. emma goes out everyday and has never once come back and said she has been bored. she gets picked up and dropped off around the times i need which is a great help. she is very reliable and emmas loves going in the school holidays. i would highly recommend.
