About Us
Biggin Hill Primary Academy is a highly successful school serving the Bransholme Estate and surrounding areas. We were judged to to be outstanding by Ofsted in February 2015. The school employs 31 teachers and 59 support staff who are committed to implementing the school’s ethos and values to help pupils achieve their learning potential.
Most of our pupils are of a White/British background with English as their first language. The percentage of pupils for whom English is not their first language (EAL) is 5%. For those children that have additional learning needs we have a dedicated SENCO who helps to ensure these children get the support that they need to reach their potential.
The school has a good relationship with all of its stakeholders and our governing body are a proactive team who share a real concern and interest in the life and work of the school.
We are a larger than average primary school but that does not prevent us from regarding each child as individuals with individual needs. Our enthusiastic and highly motivated staff are committed to giving each child the highest standard of care, guidance and support.
