About Us
Greenbank is a co-educational independent preparatory school & day nursery for children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years. Located in the residential area of Cheadle Hulme, the school was founded in 1951 and is a charitable trust. The school is non-selective and, at age 11 years, pupils gain places at the top senior schools in the area. Greenbank was one of the Daily Telegraph's Top 10 best value independent schools in 2015 and was voted ISA's Green School of the Year 2014. The latest ISI inspection classed the EYFS as 'Outstanding in all Areas'.

The day nursery and preschool are open 50 weeks of the year from 7.30am to 6.00pm. The school is also open 50 weeks and 7.30-6.00, offering wrap around care - breakfast club, after school club and holiday club.
