At the Academy we have a warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere that provides an excellent environment for learning.
The children are able to enjoy a state of the art building, designed with the children at its heart. There are outdoor areas linked to each classroom, a dance studio and an impressive children’s kitchen with viewing window to the Academy kitchen. children can also benefit from large, brightly coloured classrooms and library / computing area, designed especially to inspire and engage young minds.
We have very high expectations for everyone and aspire for Lace Hill Academy to be a place where children strive to achieve their very best within a supportive, caring community.

Our Childcare Provision
Lace Hill has a Nursery for 3 and 4 year olds.
We will follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework 2012 and as such our nursery provision will be closely linked to our Foundation 2 class which will ease the transition into school. Children will be offered a principled play-based approach to learning and development as it has been shown that young children learn successfully through play. The children will have a safe and secure indoor and outdoor environment to explore. Children can start at Lace Hill Nursery in the school Term that they reach their 3rd birthday.
Applications for a Nursery place can be made once your child is 2 years old.
Our before and after school provision will offer endless fun and excitement in a safe and secure environment. Children will be able to relax and enjoy creative and stimulating activities in a friendly, disciplined, safe and relaxed atmosphere.
