About Us
Lealands High School is a community school with specialist Sports College status for 11-16 year olds located on the northern edge of Luton, in Sundon Park. The facilities, following a £17.5m investment in 2013, are fantastic.
Students achieve excellent results and make fantastic progress in a welcoming and caring environment. This progress is supported by the hard work and commitment of well qualified staff who set high expectations to enable every child to succeed.
In 2013, Ofsted judged the school to be good with outstanding behaviour and said, “The school’s motto to “Aspire Believe Achieve” is an accurate reflection of students’ very positive attitudes and performance”.
Lealands passionately believe in the potential of every student and are focused on enabling young people to flourish in an ever demanding world. Students experience a wide range of engaging, relevant and inspirational learning activities; both in and out of the classroom.
Lealands strongly believe in partnerships working together in the best interests of all students. Parents/carers, students, staff, governors, community groups and friends all work together to ensure that the young in the school enjoy the learning journey and achieve exceptional results.
