About me:

My name is Emete, known as Emss; a mum of three kids. During my working life I have always been in the care industry with over 7 years experience in Mental Health and Autism with adults. My passion for teaching grew intensively during the very first lockdown when I began to homeschool my eldest. It has given me great pleasure to grow courage to begin my home nursery to offer a safe and caring environment for your child. My motivation and ongoing outstanding performance enables your child to get the best early years experiences. Learning through play is vital in a child’s early life as this creates a solid foundation of their confidences and self esteem to help them build great strength in the 3 prime areas. There is nothing more I enjoy hearing than children laughing and showing enjoyment in the activities they are doing. Down to level playing, not only am i your child’s childminder i become their friend.
Celebrating a child’s achievements always happens at Emss Home Nursery.

With the qualification of Health and Social Care Level 3 extended diploma studies and ongoing studying done to always be on board with any new changes in the EYFS and to continuously grow knowledge in order to provide the best service. My aim is to provide a home to home environment for your child to feel at home whilst learning and achieving new targets.

I work alongside a Ofsted Registred agency helping educators across the country become early years educators and open they’re very own nurseries in their home.

‘ is on a mission to unlock the potential of every child’

I; myself are not only there to support myself, they are there to support parents with a live chat, help with government funding schemes. will also send out invoices via the app each week/month.

Testimonials

‘ I am so glad I found Emss Home Nursery, communication has been perfect from the very first time I made contact. Welcoming, friendly and very caring. My son settled in really well, he feels at home and comfortable. He has made great friends and always speaks about his day happily. I would recommend this nursery highly, you can rest assured knowing your little one are in a caring, loving and safe environment’

“Finding someone to look after your children can be the toughest decision if you're a parent like me who finds it so hard to trust. Emss cared for my children aged 9 and 7. Having a son who has autism was a major concern for me. Emss made my son feel like he was home away from home. He didn't want to come home, which was the sign I needed for him. She is gentle, caring, and most of all professional in what she does. As the parent, I kept contacting her to know all was well, and her reassurance gave me peace and trust. At the end of the day, she puts pictures and detailed information on the childrens profile so i can see what they've been up to. She knows her stuff, and I'd highly recommend using her services without worry. Your child/children will be absolutely safe and happy. Thank you Emss”

Emss and Miss T (her assistant) has provided such great care for my one year old. Emss Tiney Home Nursery is a great setting and has had such a positive impact on my child’s development. They are attentive, passionate and extremely nurturing. They really focus on all areas on children development through daily learning and activities. My child feels safe and loves it here and she has learned so much here and has developed such positive social, emotional and behavioural skills for her age. It’s like she gets to hit a mile stone every time she’s at Emss. Emss and her experience will speak for itself, she’s serious and passionate about her job. As a parent, I can learn so much from Emss and Miss T. I am so forever grateful for them and the space they provide. I don’t think I could get the same care for my child anywhere else. It’s been a blessing to watch my child learn and grow here.

I couldn’t be happier to have found someone like ems! She goes above and beyond for the kids in her care. Her communication is great and always keeps me informed! I’m so impressed with my daughter’s progress since attending ems tiny home nursery.
Every day I’m sent a summary of my daughter’s day, along with pictures of the activities done on the day. My daughter isn’t the best with eating but ems never forgets to inform me how much she has eaten whilst in her care.
I’m so so grateful for ems and there’s absolutely no one I would trust more thank you for everything you do! ❤️

Thank you so much hun, we love your daughter very much and she is an absolute beauty she brings so much happiness to our setting!

We appreciate you choosing our services!

Emss

Ems has looked after my daughter since she was just a year old. My daughter is now 4 and has come on leaps and bounds since attending Emss nursery!

My little girl is always so excited to attend the setting and play with "Mummy Emss and Miss T". Emss makes all children feel at home and gives them rewards when being good and showing progression and good behaviour.

Every week, parents are sent menus of what their children will be eating throughout the week and they're always very healthy and nourishing meals which I am overly satisfied with.

Every day I receive an end of day update showing what my daughter has been doing for the day and what she has been learning which I absolutely love as I can continue at home.

Emss provides books for the children to bring home every evening which is amazing for me as my little girl loves reading. I always get pictures and work that my daughter has done sent home throughout the week which is amazing as I am able to keep these and put them in a special journal for her when she is older.

Any problems that emss has she always requests a meeting with me for us to sit down and discuss things which I find very helpful. Each term I also get sent a report which shows what targets my daughter is achieving and what she needs extra help with.

The term trips that emss organises is amazing and my little girl loves them. I couldn't be happier with the service I have received over the past 3 years. Emss has gone above and beyond to be flexible for me when I have difficult situations to deal with and now we also have Miss T who is amazing aswell who my little girl loves!

Thank you so much ladies for all of your hard work and help with my little lady!!

She is an absolute joy to have at our setting she is loved by us and all her peers! We’ve enjoyed and still enjoying being part of her learning journey!

Emss

My daughter has been attending Emss Tiney nursery since February 2033. My daughter has flourished with her social and verbal skills and I now have a 1.5 daughter communicating fluently and understanding what we’re saying. Emss is always great at communicating home and the level of care and the planned sessions are creative and amazing! My daughter loves it there and I couldn’t think of a better person to leave her with, whilst I work full time.

Thank you so much, this was heart warming to read! Bubba is doing so well, we are so proud of her she a real joy to have here at our setting. Thank you mum for a lovely review.

It’s such a shame to have to write this bad review as up until a previous incident I would have written an amazing review. My child developed a red mark on her head, Emss took a picture of it an asked me if I had known where it was from. I said no as that is not how she was brought in that morning. Emss told me it must of been her jumper from cuddling so I didn’t think anything of it. Went to go and pick up my daughter and the assistant let me know my child had fallen down which I wasn’t told by Emss earlier. But both parents are not sure how she got the mark which was now a very evident bump. I expressed how upset I was that both didn’t see and I was met with a horrible essay blaming my child’s behaviour as being unsettling as she is fairly new and disruptive to others as an excuse and the last line saying we missed her bumping her head. I think it’s disgusting that you choose this opportunity to blame the child( her behaviour hasn’t been a problem prior) instead of being honest and taking accountability for the fact that both adults were not paying attention to see what happened. What is even worse is Emss trying to cover up by messaging me to ask if I had known what happened to her head when she knew fully well something happened there. The fact that Emss also has appeared to block me on childcare shows how guilty she is. It’s such a shame and my husband and I will be taking it further. It’s unacceptable for a child to have a bump and a huge red mark on their head and no adults present have any record of what happened, and blame instead of taking accountability.
