I also love animals so pets are not an issue.
I am studying Environmental Management with the Open University, as such science and the natural world are my passions. I love being outdoors in nature and would happily take children on fun, educational days out.
My Experience
18 years babysitting experience for parents' friends, family members (nieces and nephew) and friends' children.
6 months as an activity instructor for a children's holiday camp, leading groups of up to 12 children ages usually around 10/11 some younger, some older. Sessions included archery, fencing, climbing and abseiling amongst many others.
Volunteered with the brownies and guides for a year.
Volunteered at Martin Mere, running canoes, giving safety talks and engaging children in the surrounding activities (teepee building).
Partial teacher training at Edge Hill, spent a summer placement in a Special Educational Needs school, gaining valuable experience with children aged 0-18 with a whole range of conditions, disabilities and needs.
4 years experience as a support worker for individuals with severe learning disabilities and conditions - epilepsy trained, MAPA, moving and positioning, health and safety, COSHH, personal care, code of conduct certificate, first aid, Enhanced DBS, medication administration.
5 years experience as a domestic cleaner.
11 years experience as a pub chef. 30 years personal experience in kitchens - baking and cooking.
13 years experience driving, no points ever on license.
My Qualifications
No childcare qualifications. 11 GCSEs, 2 science A-levels, NVQL2 Activity leadership and working outdoors, BSc (Hons) Environmental Management and Technology undergraduate.

Availability is negotiable, depending on needs. Prior responsibilities on Tuesdays and Wednesdays mean I will struggle to help these days, but I may be able to juggle things with plenty of notice.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Simple evening babysits are the cheapest, additional work of cooking and cleaning will increase the fee depending on the workload. Basically negotiable depending on the needs of the family.
