About Me
I am a young at heart, energetic 53 year old and have two daughters, in their twenties who live at home with me. After years of office work, I decided I was better suited to being in a home environment with children, helping to care for and nurture them. I am a kind and caring, friendly, loyal and reliable person that would relish in helping you with your children and housekeeping.
My Experience
I am a part time nanny to the loveliest 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl in Chislehurst. We read together, cook together, play, goof around and have lots of fun.
I prepare nutritious breakfast before school/nursery drop offs. After playtime and dinner in the evening, I get them ready for bed and read stories until 7pm. I do longer days with the children in school holidays, taking them to events and activities.
I love engaging with them, watching them grow and thoroughly enjoy being a part of their expanding sense of humour!
I have also been a part time nanny to two amazing girls, aged 10 and 14 in Chislehurst. I did the school drop offs and pick ups, took them to after school activities and days out in the holidays. I taught them how to safely navigate the roads and traffic as they gained their independence. I encouraged the girls to be involved in cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the family; learning life skills.
We also played board games, playing cards, badminton etc and sang and laughed our way through our time together.
In addition, I have always contributed with light housekeeping duties e.g. loading/unloading of the dishwasher, folding and ironing, meal planning and cooking.
Prior to these roles, I was a nanny to a wonderful five year old boy, which included school pick ups, park trips, play dates, arts, crafts and day trips, which then evolved into full time childcare and home schooling during lockdown.
My Qualifications
No formal qualifications. Have brought up two children and two stepchildren, so have extensive experience as a mother. Have also looked after nieces, nephews and friends children for many years.
