Welcome to Aimee’s Childminding.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and also a member of Childminding UK.
I offer a home from home childminding setting, making it a warm and safe environment. My aim is to provide a friendly and exciting atmosphere. My setting provides lots of room for role play, arts and crafts, toys, reading, baking and cosy naps.
I structure the day through some adult led activities, free play, daily outings for fresh air and trips to places such as local farms, playgrounds and soft play. I follow the EYFS so children can learn, understand and develop skills and help children transition to school.
I live in Hunt End - Redditch, with my partner Callum and our 2 year old daughter Millie. Our household is smoke free and pet free. Ground floor consists of a porch, hallway, lounge/diner, kitchen, and a spacious garden which will be used for childminding.
I am English speaking, born and raised in Redditch. I have a full driving license, and own a Volkswagen Touran 7 seater.
I would like parents to visit my home and get to know me. I will offer welcome packs, which will include all certificates and training, contract, and a section for me to gain information about your child. I aim to know what they like, dislike, any dietary requirements and medical information I should be aware of. Information can be emailed after a visit.
Throughout the day I am happy to be in contact with parents/carers for reassurance. I offer informal meetings with parents regularly to allow us to work together effectively.
My Experience
I started my childcare knowledge in college which involved various placements at nurseries. Since having my daughter and owning my own home I have found the opportunity to begin my journey of childminding. I have undertaken relevant training and will continue to update my knowledge.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Childminding from £5 per hour - For Breakfast Club fees please message.
£5 per hour includes snacks and outings. Contract will state what children will be required to bring.
Fees are to be paid a month in advance
Places are guaranteed once deposit and contract signed.

Aimee has been looking after my two boys for a while now and from the first day she was very professional and approachable. She is really flexible with any childcare needs we have. Our boys don’t just see Aimee as the childminder, they adore her. Every time my youngest goes past her road he blows kisses saying he wants to see her and that’s all you can ask for in a child minder is that your children like going and want to go. Both my boys love seeing Aimee’s little girl and that also adds to the excitement of knowing there going to spend some time with them both.
when my boys are with her she sends pictures and updates me on how they are throughout the day. If I need last minute childcare or just a question Aimee is just a phone call or text away. I couldn’t think of any one better to put my trust in and accommodate our needs as much as she has. Her home is a lovely setting, there’s plenty of things for the children to do in the playroom, so many activities for them to take part in. If there not playing games there making cakes or there outside exploring. I leave them with her knowing there safe. I can’t recommend her enough.

We started our LG (2 years old) with Aimee early 2022, and Aimee could not be more accommodating. Our LG had never been left with anyone other than myself and my husband, and she is naturally shy, so I was definitely nervous putting her into childcare, but Aimee could not be better.
Aimee let us have as many settling in sessions as we needed, whenever we needed. She bends over backwards to accommodate our days and hours and most importantly, my LG absolutely loves going to Aimee’s house. Aimee sets up bespoke activities tailored to my daughter’s interests including making potions, gruffalo themes, baking, role playing shops, outside play, picnics, dance parties, and that’s just in one day! She has catered to my daughter’s medication as well as dietary needs and snacks throughout the day. My husband is a particular fan of the cornflake cakes our daughter often brings home and has requested them a few times!
Aimee sends me lots of pictures and we are in constant communication. She is honest and proactive and extremely responsive. My daughter has turned into a confident, outgoing, happy child with Aimee and they have a close bond, as well as with Aimee’s daughter, Millie (who is gorgeous). She talks about Aimee and Millie on the days she is not there and even wants to bring them to Gruffalo Land next time we go!
Aimee is very gentle and looks after my daughter wonderfully. She offers her comfort if needed and always treats and speaks to her with respect and warmth. I have complete trust in Aimee and I know my daughter is happy and safe with her. I have never had to leave my daughter upset or in distress with Aimee, and Aimee wouldn’t expect me to. Aimee’s setting is spacious and clean, easily accessible with lots of toys, outside space and different areas for different activities.
Aimee has a great understanding of children and childminding and she is my first point of call for everything now for my daughter. I have recommended her to everyone I know, including my sister, and will continue to bring my daughter to her for as long as I can.
