About Me
I am 27 years old, I help run a family business, Gold Starz Dance School, and have been doing so for the past 10 years. I love to paint, sew, craft and love sports. I am a huge Disney and Marvel fan and I have an adorable dalmatian names Poppy.
Dance is my number one passion and has been since I was 18 months old, since then I have gone to college, performed on many stages, and become an Adjudicator of Dance.
My Experience
I run a very successful dance school located in Wellingborough, and work with children of all ages ranging from 2-19. As part of this role I teach these students how to dance on weeknights and weekends, and then over school holidays teach dance camps typically 9am-4pm. I also take my students to competitions across the country, many times without the parent being present, for all day events and weekend events too.
From teaching students as regularly as I do, I have become an important role model in their lives and strive to not only teach them dance education, but also life lessons and help shape them into the adults they become.
My Qualifications
I have a basic DBS qualification and also an Enhanced DBS qualification.
I am First aid trained, and have had much experience with treating basic first aid due to my work with Gold Starz Dance School.
10+ years experience teaching children aged 2-19
I am a fully qualified dance teacher with the UKA
I am a Qualified Adjudicator and Championship Adjudicator with the ADFP
I have 3 years teaching experience with secondary schools, and also teaching experience at primary school.
