About Me
Hi, my name is Cassy and I am 20 years old. I live in Kew, Southport and just recently bought my own home. I have worked in childcare for about two and a half years and I come from a big family, always surrounded by children of all ages.
I am kind, compassionate, hard working, reliable, fun and respectful.
My favourite thing about working in the childcare sector is watching all the firsts. All the firsts (walking, crawling, talking, counting, building, etc) at home with people who they are comfortable and safe with are amazing however when I, as a childcare provider, get to see those firsts for myself it is one of the most rewarding parts of childcare, another rewarding part being the relationships and friendships built with the children I have the privilege of caring for.
I really honour the relationship and trust between myself and the parents/carers and I often like to meet the family before babysitting to learn a little about eachother before jumping right in so it is more relaxing for all parties involved including myself, the parents but most importantly the children. I am willing to welcome them into my home and if they ever need home away from home care, I am willing to do that also.
My aim is to prepare my new home suitable for childminding and hopefully will be up and running in the next 2-3 years as a lot of work needs doing but I am looking forward to meeting all parents/carers and I hope that I can help as many families as I can.
My Experience
I have worked in 2 nurseries, one previous and one currently.
I used to be a leader at my local Girl Guides unit until I stopped in 2020 due to working more hours.
I have babysat for family and friends over the last 6 years and I have also babysat for parents through my workplace and also tutored Maths and English for a 7 year old.
My Qualifications
GCSE's: A,B,C grades across the board. A - English literature, C - English Language and B - Mathematics.
Southport College - Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Childcare and Education (passed 2021)
My Availability
Please note that evening calls (monday, tuesday, thursday and friday) have to be for about 7pm, so I have time to change and travel after work.
I am available during Bank Holidays too.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £10 an hour for babysitting one child at a time.
If you need care for more than one child, I charge an extra £2 per hour for each child.
For example,
1 child for 2 hours £20
2 children for 2 hours £24
3 children for 2 hours £26 etc
During Bank Holidays, I charge time and half.
