About Me
My name is Katie. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Hoddesdon with my husband and two children. My daughter is 13 and my son is 10. We are a happy caring family, and we have lots of fun together.
We live in a nice size house with lots of space for children to play. We also have a large conservatory where we do sticking and glueing, painting and other arts and crafts. We have a large collection of toys and activities which provides a stimulating and fun environment for the children.
I have a good size enclosed garden with plenty of things to do - slide, sand and water, cars, small trampoline etc.
we have a small dog as our pet. He is great with children.
I encourage learning through fun and play and offer a wide range of resources.
I can drop and collect from Rye park nursery, corner stones. We have a strict non smoking policy.
We live a 5 minute walk to Rye house train station.

My Experience
As a mother to a 13year old girl and 10year old boy I have plenty of hands on experience at caring for children. I also have a total of seven nieces and nephews that I've looked after.
We love baking cookies, arts and crafts and playing in the garden.
We go to the local parks to play and feed the ducks.
We enjoy going to the farm and having picnics when the weather is nice,
And lots more.
My Qualifications
I hold an CYPOP 5 understand how to set up a home based childcare service.
Paediatric first aid certificate.
Enhanced DBS check (so does my husband).
GCSE in childcare.
Public liability insurance.
Full clean driving licence.
I am regularly updating my knowledge by attending courses on different areas of childcare.
My Availability
I have space available
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm These times are negotiable.
I can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Snacks will also be provided.
