My Experience

I worked in a day nursery for 7 years with children aged 3 months - 5 years. I have experience working with all ages and was room based with children aged 2-3 years for nearly 4 years. I then became room manager in the under 2's room.. I have lots of experience in caring and providing stimulating activities that are fun and encourage all areas of development for all ages.

I also have sole charge experience as I have worked as a full-time Nanny for over ten years for various families. Responsibilities included sole charge care of all children while their parents are working, providing fun and interesting activities/outings that stimulate and encourage their development, arranging playdates and attending various groups, providing healthy home cooked meals (including dairy free due to allergies) and batch cookng, children's laundry, school drop off/pick ups, encouraging good personal hygiene such as brushing teeth, washing hands, getting dressed by themselves etc and generally having fun in a safe and happy environment:-)

In December 2019, I was lucky enough to become a mummy myself. My second arrived in May 2023.
I have been in my current role for over 3 years. Both my boys join me for some of the time, which has been amazing. The bonds all the children have formed together are beautiful.
Unfortunately, from September, my hours will be reduced due to the youngest attending preschool full time.
I am searching for a new family to support 2 days a week. (My oldest will be starting school (Marlow), and my youngest is looked after by grandparents 2 days a week)
