About Me
My name is Alison and I run A to Z Childminding from my home in Copnor, Portsmouth.
I am an experienced fully qualified teacher with a degree in psychology. I am now a fully qualified childminder with an up to date paediatric first aid certificate and full public liability insurance.
My aim is to give you a home from home, nurturing environment where your children are encouraged to grow, develop, learn and have fun.
My home is in Copnor and I live with my husband, who si my registered assisant, and our two children (age 4 and 7). On a typical day, we enjoy attending playgroup, going to the park, arts and crafts, baking, woodland walks, messy play and much more. We like to be out and about exploring our local area.
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder, I was a fully qualified primary school teacher in Portsmouth for six years. I also have a degree in Psychology and while studying at the University of Portsmouth, I worked as a student ambassador in schools promoting higher education, raising aspirations and mentoring young people.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Day rate for under fives - £42 for any hours between 8am and 5pm. Hours outside of this available on request and at my hourly rate.
