I am a busy mum of two Josh who is 31 and Brad who is 29 with an enhanced crb and also a Gaga to Theo and Flo :) I love to work with children and give them a home from home setting. We mini labrador who loves children
I live with my Husband Rod who is enhanced DBS checked he has 2 daughters aged 21 and 16 who stay with us sometimes during the holidays
I am registered with Ofsted having a "GOOD" on my last Ofsted inspection on October 13th 2022
I have a 9 seater car with all car seats supplied by myself and a standard car with seats supplied I drive one car and my husband drives the other
I am a member of motonmichel insurance.
I have an nvq level 3
Both my husband and myself are Covid 19 fully vaccinated and have worked all through the pandemic under the government guidelines
My Husband Rod is registered as my assistant via Ofsted and currently works with me He has his pediatric first aid and has his safeguarding children certificate
My Experience
I have worked with Children for the last 35 years + most of it being a childminder, I worked in a private day nursery for just over a year.
I have an enhanced CRB check
I am a trained pediatric first aider
I have my level 2 food safety certificate
I have been trained with safeguarding children.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in Childcare also 30+ years of looking after children, I've also been a foster parent

I would highly recommend Nicky! My son was totally mesmerised by her personality in the very 1st meeting. She is a very warm and friendly person. The setting is very neat, clean and child friendly.

Nicky looked after my son from 9 months old to 2 and a half years.. he enjoyed every moment spent at nickys, and knowing he was so happy being there made it much easier for me to return to work. He would often come home singing new songs and telling me all about his day with lots of enthusiasm and smiles.. thank you Nicky and Rod xx

Nicky looked after our daughter from 10 months to 14 months, and we have been very happy with the level of care that Nicky has provided and the fun, happy and secure environment of her warm and welcoming home. Nicky’s care has definitely contributed to our daughter’s development. In the few months our daughter has been with Nicky, her skills have developed rapidly, with confidence to push herself. As a parent, leaving your child in someone else’s care is difficult, but Nicky has made this process very easy, and daily updates with photos via Babydays have been brilliant to help us feel in touch with our daughters development.
We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend her to any parent looking for a great child-minder.
