About Me
I have been married to my husband for 3 years and in January, I became a mum for the 1st time to my gorgeous little boy, Archie. Although I have looked after children for 11 years, having my own newborn has been a very different experience; a very real and humbling one.
Previous to my Maternity Leave I was a Nursery Manager of a lovely family run Nursery. Although I enjoyed this greatly, I would now like to find a family that I can care for along wth my little boy.
My Experience
I have been in Childcare for 11 years starting as a Nursery Assistant, completing NVQ Level 3 and 4 and working up to my last 2 positions as a Nursery Manager, where I also studied for and obtained my Level 5 Diploma in Childcare and Management.
I have loved my time with the children and even more so that I was able to make such positive changes to their environment and opprtunities as Nursery Manager.
I have undertaken many courses throughout my time in childcare; this alongside my experience has allowed me to understand each child as an individual... every child is different; interests, skills, preferences etc
As a Manager I was able to support our team in creating a friendly, challenging and supportive environment for all of the children we cared for, encouraging them to reach their full potential through the delivery of individually planned activities and goals.

My Availability
I am completely flexible to days preferably looking for 25-30 hours per week, however, I would be willing to discuss fewer or more hours if the right opportunity came my way.
I would need to bring my son with me, however I would ensure that this would not impact on the care I would provide the family.
