December 2012 - Present

Sole charge Nanny, Barkingside Essex

Nanny for 3 children child 5 days a week for 46 hours. I provide a fun safe loving and happy environment for the little boy's I look after. My duties are to plan day activities appropriate to his needs and development level. Swimming, parks and noting down their development for parents. I was also in charge of child's laundry feeding and general happiness.

November 2011 - December 2012

Second in charge of toddler room, Sunshine day nursery Leytonstone

My role as second in charge was to ensure all children in my care were safe and secure follow the EYFS to ensure their development needs were met not only daily but monthly and annually. I had 8 key children and was in charge of their personal learning folders which had to include observations of the children linked in with the EYFS. I also have to plan for my key children from daily planning to weekly to monthly. My role also included making healthy snacks for the children and ensuring their day at nursery was as good as can be. When moving back to London I had to take a course on the EYFS as my previous setting was in Scotland we had a different curriculum to adhere to.

March 2012 - November 2012

Supervisor in toddler room, Daisychain day nursery, Kirkcaldy Scotland

My role in this setting was a supervisor of the toddler room I had 2 staff members under me and on our busiest day we had 9 children in due to our location we were able to take our children on walks to the beach and ‘the gruffalo’ park which all children and I’m sure most staff enjoyed. My role in the room was to ensure the children in my care had a safe loving and caring environment, they were encouraged to free play as way as join in group activities which were presented through planning and linked into the curriculum of excellence. I was in charge of the planning of the room and my key children. I as a supervisor had 13 key children and was in charge of their development folders which included observations, art work and photographs of the children’s development stages.

Nursery nurse, Crèche bang wallop, various venues in Essex

Crèche bang wallop is a mobile nursery used to keep children entertained at weddings my role is to make sure children are safe and happy by providing activities suitable for their age. Ensure parents were aware children were safe and allowed them to feel comfortable with the care their children was in.
