Hello, my name is Orla and I am based in West Belfast.
I have extensive experience working with children ranging from newborns to 16 years old, including those with additional needs such as ADHD and autism. I am happy to assist with cooking and light housekeeping duties, as I take pride in caring for my own family and regularly help with my nieces and nephews. I hold a full driving licence, have access to my own vehicle, and am available for school pickups and drop-offs.

My Experience
I have been working at the same daycare for the past seven years, where I have gained extensive experience caring for children across various age groups. During this time, I have developed strong relationships with both children and families, contributing to a nurturing and supportive environment.
I provided consistent childcare for the same family for seven years, building a strong and trusting relationship as the children grew older and became more independent. In addition, I occasionally care for children aged 7, 4, and 3, belonging to a close family friend.
I also spent six months working in a primary school, where I supported classroom activities, assisted during school trips, and helped coordinate the school play. I have valuable experience working with children with both physical and learning disabilities, and I am confident in providing the care and support they need.
Currently, I am working with children aged 0 to 16 months; however, I have experience across all age groups and adapt easily to meet the needs of different developmental stages.
My Qualifications
I hold a GNVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Children's Care, Learning and Development. In addition, I have achieved GCSEs in English and Drama.
I have volunteered in a primary school supporting children aged 4 to 7, including those with learning difficulties, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in an educational setting. I recently completed an 18-week course during which I earned several OCN-accredited certificates, including Food Hygiene, Child Protection, and First Aid. I also hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
