My name is Joanna, I am 39 year old and happy mum to my two children . I would consider myself to be very friendly and easy to get along with. I put my best into everything I do and work very hard. Im work with brilliant assistants, that helps to look of your little one in our setting
I offer a professional childminding service with a difference! The unique Childcare service bringing together the benefits of both a childminders and nursery setting.
I can offer the social interaction and peer learning benefits of a nursery while still offering that home from home environment and familiarity that makes childminding unique.
The setting itself is ideal for childminding, being set few minutes away from local park nearby and other parks and playgrounds within easy reach, the property has an established garden with plenty of space for supervised exploration for inquisitive young minds. There is plenty to keep those minds occupied inside too.
I have a large range of toys and games for children to play with, as well as lots of craft materials for them to use. I like planning activities for all children in my care to give them the chance to experience new things and to be creative. My garden is safe and secure and has plenty of space.
To develop children's social skills I will regularly attend local childminding and toddler groups. I love to be out and about, so we will also visit local parks, indoor soft play and other places of interest.
In my home children are encouraged to sit and eat meals together - it's a great opportunity for them to interact with each other and learn good table manners.
I enjoy a wide range of activities and have a real passion for children and their development.
It is essential in my opinion not to be just a childminder, but also a role mode. When engaging with the children I always consider fairness and equality.
I promote interaction with the children at all time in order for them to get as much as possible from their childminding time.
I am a passionate cook and your child can really benefit from that as I really care of what my family eat and where the food come from. You can be sure that when your child is in my care he will get the best quality food. We do not compromise on 5 a day!! We get lots more than that. I cook every meal from scratch, and we snack on fruit and veg during the day. Of course we have a treat like cookies and cupcakes but we don't compromise on quality so we bake them too, having fun as we go. I teach kids the importance of healthy diet and teach them where the food comes from. I have weekly delivery of organic vegetables and fruit and I know from my own experience that this was the best way to teach my daughter the different textures, shapes, colours, and names of veg and fruit and it also include the children in the fun process of creating a testy meal :)
