Hi, my name is Tanya, Tanya's Tots.
I am married to Andrew , we have two children. Sophie who is 27 and lives in Wales and Jessica who is 23 and still living at home. My husband and daughter are very supportive and are happy to share their home with the children.
We have Beagle called Henry and two Chorkie's called Chip and Stella.
My Experience
I am the mother of two girls and worked at a Hothersall Lodge field study centre for 5 years as Cook in charge. Catering for children between the ages of 5 and 16. I have the Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and childcare (early years educator)

Tanya has minded my girls for over 10 years. From the minute I stepped into her home I knew we had found the right setting for our baby! Tanya is so welcoming, reassuring and has always treated our children like her own! I have always felt at ease and so assured that my children are in the best care. Tanya has always gone above and beyond for us as a family, not just for my girls. She has been absolutely amazing; so caring and helpful while also helping our children develop and progress in every way possible!
She provides a clean and, safe, stimulating environment. Our girls have thrived whilst in Tanya’s care and were both more than ready for school after both being minded by Tanya from the age of 1 year old!
Tanya has continued to provide before and after school care for our girls and they see her (as do we) as family!
When first looking for the right setting for our first baby, we were very anxious about leaving our precious baby in other peoples care but we absolutely found a diamond in Tanya and would 100% recommend her to every parent.

Tanya has looked after my 2 youngest children, both from around 7 months old. My eldest is 10 years old and my youngest has recently just left Tanya's Tots to start school.
Tanya has been an absolute god send. She is warm, friendly and so caring. My children have both thrived and loved being at Tanya's Tots.
Tanya always goes above and beyond to help out and is very flexible, which being a little unorganised, is an absolute god send to me.
Her home is welcoming, clean and very child friendly. The dedicated play/learning area is fantastic.
Both my children regularly return to Tanya's Tots in the school holidays, nor because I need childcare but because they just miss her and can't wait to spend time with her again.
I have always felt safe in the knowledge that my children are safe, looked after and most of all always having fun.
I can't recommend Tanya's Tots enough.

Since moving from Manchester to Blackburn, finding childcare in a area that was new to me was a huge concern, however I came across Tanya's tots on here, and all I can say is she's an amazing women who is very good at her job! Tanya has accommodated me And has been very understanding through my change of jobs, always helped me out with my son when my hours changed through changing employment. My son absolutely loves going to see Tanya, he's been made very welcome and has made lots of new friends! I genuinely do not know how I would of managed without Tanya's help ? her home is very welcoming, clean and child friendly.. I would definitely recommend Tanya's tots and I certainly feel safe and happy knowing my son is in great care ??
