We are The Fruit Tree Day Nursery, a colorful, vibrant nursery group situated in the heart of London. Our newest Nursery is located at Northover, (BR1 Lewisham/Grove Park & Bromley border).

We launched in September 2015 undergoing a 360-transformation, refurbishing the building from top-to-toe CREATING A BRIGHTER,MORE MODERN AND EXCITING PLACE. It looks absolutely fantastic, we have high-quality resources so we are able to bring the nursery and pre-school curriculum to life in the most engaging and creative ways possible, caring for babies from 3 months old to Toddlers and Pre School children up to 5 years of age.

We have an in-house chef who continues our tradition of hearty and healthy home-cooked meals. Many of the meals that we serve in our settings have been parent-suggested and represent the vibrant cultures of our children. From Spanish fish with potato and sweet corn stew to sweet-chilli chicken with rice and peas the tastes are nutritiously varied, and we consider all cultural, religious and dietary requirements.

In addition to a wide-range of resources, and nutritious meals to support your child’s development, we have two open spaces for the children to explore through play and discovery – a fully equipped garden attached to the baby area, and a large play area for the older children furnished with toys and learning resources, our gardens are a key feature of the nursery which engages the energies and explorational minds of our children.
We also have a outdoor nature themed mud kitchen for further outside play engagement.

All equipment are of the highest safety standards, the gardens are full of fresh air and leafy, and will provide a great starting point for many outdoor-learning topics such as the weather, gardening and mini-beasts. As an example, children in our settings have grown their own strawberries and tomatoes.

We pride ourselves on being accessible to all parents. As such, we have extremely competitive fees and offer the various grants such as free 15-hours childcare grant for 2-4 year-old's, and also offer the new 30 hours free childcare for 3-4 year old's.

The management and staff have worked very hard to create a place where children feel safe and valued and a place where parents can be assured their child is being cared for and encouraged at every opportunity.

We are rated GOOD with Many fantastic features by Ofsted in December 2017 ( our first Ofsted inspection since our launch) here is some key extracts from the report -

Afternoon session: 1pm - 6pm
Full Day: 7.30am - 6pm
