I am looking for support for my 16 year old daughter. Our daughter has Down syndrome and we are looking for someone to support her (and transport her) to Cozenton gym in Rainham
Monday and Wednesday evenings in term time. Approx 6pm - 8pm.
£12.50 an hour with travel paid at 45p a mile.
Additional support hours may be available in school holidays and/or weekends if desired.
Occasionally this role may be a different activity in the community or within the home but the main aim is accessing the gym.
Own car is essential, as is an inspiring personality who can engage well with people with communication needs. She is initially very shy but quickly warms up to people who are fun and engaging.
It’s a really fun role that may include different ways of supporting our daughter and our family. Someone with an interest in SEN is preferred, but the right attitude is more important.
