About Me
I live close to Franklin College. ( Chelmsford ave / Laceby Road area ). I am also only a few minutes walk from the Grimsby institute.
I'm aged 42. I'm married, and we have two grown-up daughters. My husband works full time as a printer.
We have pets,we share our home with our cats and cocker spaniel puppy Mabel. The cats are mostly outside or upstairs and Mabel has her own space when children are here.Childrens well-being is always in mind with regard to our pets.
We are all non-smokers here, though smoking is not permitted in my home anyway.
My setting is very much a family home. Children are welcomed like family here. It's a small setting. I usually only have 3 young children here at once.
There are toys/ resources/ books for children to self select. Children learn through play and activities planned to further their development.
We have outdoor space in our secure garden. I have outdoor toys and resources. We grow plants and vegetables with the children too.
I welcome pre-arranged visits where you can meet me and see our home ,view my training certificates, etc, and ask me anything you like before choosing your childcare.
Please feel welcome to contact me I am very flexible with visit times and don't mind weekends for visits.
My Experience
I studied childcare at college for 3 years , I had placements in schools and nurseries, private day care etc. Also several years of Nursery worker experience.
Over 20 years of experience in childcare altogether and I am a parent myself.
I've always enjoyed working with children ,I started babysitting as a teenager and have enjoyed caring for children ever since.
My Qualifications
I was graded as " Good " by Ofsted on both of my inspections on my previous registration.
Cache level 2 in child Care & Education
Cache level 3 Diploma in Nursery Nursing
Paediatric first aid
Food hygiene
Safe guarding children
I also have many more certificates of other short courses & training days related to childcare which you can view on a visit. My training is on going ,I regularly update my training in Safeguarding and first aid as it is a requirement. I do also self select training and do various courses in my own time.
My Availability
My working hours are 8.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday Tuesday Thursday & Friday.
I am CLOSED on Wednesdays.
I care for early years aged children only.
I have a space available now for Thursdays & Fridays
I will have a space for Mondays & Tuesdays from January for a child aged 2 +years. I am registered for funded childcare.
Settling in sessions can be offered during December for the January start

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5 per hour
Lunch and snacks with milk are included in my fees.
I can provide breakfast if needed for my earlier starters.
I do not provide tea but do provide an extra snack for children staying past 4.30pm.
I provide baby wipes but nappies are provided by parents.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.

We have been using Keely’s childminding service for almost 5 weeks now. We were very unsure about sending out little boy to a private childminder instead of a nursery, but we already feel like we’ve made the best decision by doing this. Harrison smiles every morning when we get to Keely’s front door, he absolutely loves going. Keely is procession, whilst being friendly and treating Harrison like one of her own. Harrison enjoys lots of different messy play activities at Keely’s house, but always comes home clean and presented as he was when I left him (this is something we found an issue in nurseries as Harrison would come home filthy). Keely updates me daily and is reassuring if I’m ever worried about my boy. We are so grateful for Keely being so accommodating and flexible for our childcare needs. I highly recommend Keely, she’s fab!
