My Experience

I went to college for two years and gained a dilpoma in childcare. Through college i had the opportunity to gain experience in two placements, a school and nursery. Once qualified i went to work in a nursery as a nursery nurse for two years. I was based in the baby room but occasionally in the other rooms. My role was to care for the babies/children and help them develop new skills. From being a nursery nurse i then went on to becoming a nanny. I worked with two families- one little boy and twin boys. I worked with the twins three days a week and the one little boy two days a week. The twins were eleven months when i started and the one little boy was six months. My responsibilities included cooking, activities, days out and pre-school runs. As i had sole charge of all the boys, i felt i developed a strong bond with them all and became a part of their families. Since then i have done temp work in nurseries and another nanny job.

I have been a stay at home Mum for 9 years but now my children are at school i am excited to get back to work.

My Qualifications

College for two years gaining a Diploma level 3 in childcare and education qualification.
I will be happy to do a first aid course if the job required this.

My Availability

I am looking for part time work, term time only.
