About Me
My name is Jenny and I live in Chesham with my husband, teenage twin girls and 3 cats.
My house is situated in Lye Green in a quiet cul de sac with a lovely and safe garden to play in.
I offer a friendly and homely environment with a wide range of toys and activities in the house and garden.
I attend a few of the local playgroups, go to the parks and also visit the local farms and Whipsnade zoo with the children.
I am originally from Sweden so I am fluent in Swedish as well as English. I can also understand/speak a bit of German.
My Experience
I registered as a childminder with Ofsted in June 2013. I have lots of experience working with children. This is from bringing up my own children and my work experience including working in a nursery, Home care- assisting children with disabilities, volunteering as a parent helper in nursery and reception class and working for the learning support department at Chesham Grammar School.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 in health care
First Aid
Safegaurding and Child protection
Food hygiene
Have also attended a number of courses on Autistic Spectrum Disorders

My son has been with Jenny since he was just 15 months old, and now, at 6 years old, he still goes to her after school. From the very beginning, she has been nothing short of amazing. I wanted a small setting with a regular carer rather than a big nursery and Jenny's was perfect..
She has created such a nurturing, caring environment where my son has truly flourished—emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Her genuine care and attention to each child's individual needs is clear, and it's so comforting to know he's in such good hands. All meals are home cooked and she varies the activites to keep the children engaged. She’s not just a childminder; she’s become a big part of his (and our) lives and someone we completely trust.
I can't recommend her highly enough—your child will have the best start at Jenny's.

Jenny has been our son's childminder for a year now and I can't recommend her highly enough - my son loves her! There are never any tears at drop off, and he always confidently wanders in - which shows how safe he feels in her care. Jenny has a very kind and nurturing approach and my son is thriving under her care. She is always happy to support when needed and has been really helpful when any issues have arisen.

Currently our 2 children attend Jennys and they are both thriving and happy in her care. Jenny is loving, caring and patient with them both and they have come on in leaps and bounds in her environment. They have home cooked meals and attend clubs which is such a lovely bonus and the learning and fun they get up to each day is amazing to hear about. Jenny has been really accommodating with our needs and we would highly recommend Jenny to anyone.

My first and now second have been going to Jenny's from a year old, when I felt that nursery would be too overwhelming for them and a home environment would suit them best. Jenny has supported them at each stage and really took their routines and sensitivities into account. They have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, but also set the pace themselves. I have felt they flourished with mixed age groups both when younger and being encouraged by older pre-school children, and when older themselves and learning to help (or at least tolerate!) younger ones. Jenny has been very flexible with arrangements and I can see how not only my two, but other children too, thrive up to school age with her. Very happy!

Our daughter is very contented and happy, which is testiment to Jenny's caring nature. Jenny is able to balance our daughter's needs and routine with the other children and works closely with us to ensure she is fully supporting her developmental needs.
Jenny is incredibly caring and flexible and really puts the children first. We really like the variety of activities and outings that are both fun and stimulating/educational in a homely enviroment. I would highly recommend Jenny's childcare. Jenny was really kind and patient with our daughter when she was settling in and now she is confident and sociable and has a great relationship with Jenny.

Our daughter is extremely shy and we were worried about how she would settle with anyone. Jenny has been an absolute star and extremely patient. It took a while, but Mia is now very happy and settled with Jenny. Her approach is gentle, calm and kind. She tries hard to think about the individual developmental needs of all the children in her care. Mia has made huge progress socially and we really cannot recommend her highly enough.
