About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder.

I am married with a 13 year old daughter, Hollie and have twins boys, Ben and Max who are 7. We live in St Helen's Road, Hastings within walking distance of Alexandra Park, local schools and the beach.

I have been inspected by Ofsted and was graded overall "GOOD". All Ofsted, insurance and first aid certificates are available to view in my portfolio.

My house is bright and child-friendly with plenty of creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces to play and a downstairs toilet. I have lots of fun toys for all ages; musical instruments, large wooden blocks, games, puzzles, role-play kitchen and play food, dolls, cars, dressing up clothes, lego etc. Children also enjoy arts and craft and cooking. We celebrate different events throughout the year with fun activities. Children have their own art folder and also can take their craft bits home at the end of the day to show parents.

I can take the children to toddler groups, across the road to Alexandra Park, the library for story time or childminder sessions for messy play activities. The beach is a short 15 minute walk away. I have a secure garden with a large play area to include a sandpit and large brick built playhouse and a large lawned area with a mud and sand mixing station for plenty of messy play.

I follow the Early Years Foundation stage to encourage learning and development through play. Children have their own journals which provides a little window into their world whilst at my setting with information on what they have eaten, naps taken and photos of activities and how they link to learning and development. I promote healthy eating throughout the day.

I can drop off and collect from local schools and preschools.

I am be able to provide funded spaces/free early years education for 3 and 4 year olds, and registered also to provide free early education for two year olds with East Sussex County council.
