About Me
My name is Amanda-Jane Farmer, I am 58 years old and have a daughter aged 23.I moved to Wombourne in 2020 from East Sussex where I was an Ofsted Registered Childminder from October 2001- October 2019. I am proud of the fact that I was given an "Outstanding" grade by Ofsted in my Inspections.
I am available for Daytime, Evening and Overnight Babysitting.
My Experience
Mother, Childminder and Babysitter for children of all ages and abilities. 2001-present. I have many Foster Parents as my clients ( I have been interviewed and checked out by their agencies) and have vast experience of working with “troubled” and Autistic children. I am also used to working alongside parents who are working from home in the same room that the childcare is taking place.
My Qualifications
I have completed a CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice, as well as attending lots of Child Related courses run by East Sussex County Council during my time as a Childminder.

I had Amanda during the school holidays for my son. She is reliable, professional and trust worthy.
Excellent communication and keep you update if any changes happens. My son LOVED her and was very happy, well locked after and entertained.
I highly recommend Amanda and I definitely well be having her again xx

You are such a lovely family, welcoming me into your home, treating me with respect , I literally felt like a family member and I honestly had a great time with your son, the hours flew by, nearly didn’t want to go home as I felt so settled. Thank You so much 🤗.
We have had Amanda over at our house to sit for our daughter aged 4. Amanda brings along a lot of toys with her which are very exciting for children. She is very lovely to speak to and makes sure she follows your child’s routine. She is very funny and definitely keeps your child entertained for hours. We would definitely recommend Amanda to our friends and family too. Thank you Amanda 😊

Amanda was great! She was on time, well prepared, professional and proactive in communicating/providing updates up to the date of the booking. Provided all the documentation prior and also turned up with her passport as ID. Went through many profiles before deciding and was very glad that we went with Amanda.

We hired Amanda-Jane to stay with our autistic child. This was first time I left him with somebody else, so I was very anxious. Amanda-Jane was absolutely amazing. Took care of my son really well, had long conversations with him and kept him company. He was very happy and I was sure my child is in safe hands. Thank you Amanda-Jane. We are all very grateful for tour help. X

Amanda came to babysit our 2year old daughter last month and we can’t rate her highly enough. It was the first time we had used a none family babysitter and she was great and very relaxed and left us feeling confident to enjoy our evening. Would definitely recommend
