About Me
I am a qualified Social Worker having qualified in July 2017 with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Winchester. My most recent work in a private day nursery (until May 2024) was the Room Leader of the Pre Toddler (aged 1-2) room, and I have also been the Room Leader of the Toddler Room (aged 2-3) and the Senior Nursery Nurse of the Pre School Room (aged 3-5). I have experience babysitting children from newborn until around the age of 10. I love my job and am so happy to have found a career I love!
My Experience
I have varied experience of working with children. I worked in a school holiday club for three years where I was responsible for a group of children aged 3-11. My responsibilities include enabling and creating a safe environment for play.
Alongside this I volunteer for a Brownies group (part of GirlGuidingUK). My main responsibility is to help arrange activities for girls aged 7-10.
More recent experience includes a full-time senior role in a nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years, widening my experience to working with younger babies. I am very comfortable with the day-to-day aspects of looking after babies and young children. I am also a babysitter for many parents I have met through this role and love to see some of the children who have left to go to school occasionally!

My Availability
I am available every weekday from early morning to late evening for nannying or babysitting, and I am also available most weekends to do babysitting on an ad-hoc basis, or regularly if that is required.
