Hello, I am a registered childminder living in Brislington, Bristol, I have been childminding for 14 years, I have a paediatric first aid certificate and public liability insurance with morton michel and I am registered by OFSTED (graded GOOD February 2022) I have 3 children of my own, a daughter aged 24 and 2 sons aged 22 and 18, I follow the EYFS but most importantly I offer a safe, warm and caring environment for children to thrive and grow in my care.
We like to visit local playgroups, farms, soft play, parks and the woods. During the school holidays we sometimes go on longer day trips such as Ashton court and Clevedon,
We also spend time at my home doing arts and crafts and I have lots of toys available for all age ranges.
My Experience
I attended the nursery nurses college of further education when I left school and worked in various nurseries in bristol. I worked for royal mail for 15 years but in 2010 decided to go back to childcare, so since my own children were in full time school decided on becoming a childminder.
I've also gained lots of experience through having my own 3 children!
I attend various training sessions through the childminding network throughout the year.

Anice has been our childminder for the last 4 years. We had two childminders before her and so had some experiences of when it goes wrong. When you find the right childminder you can feel relieved and assured that your child is safe and happy and you can feel relaxed when you're at work. This has been our experience of Anice. She has been an excellent. She's incredibly reliable. Her children are lovely and it's felt like a home from home for our child. She's kind and loving and does lots of nice activities with the children of all ages. She often makes things, does play groups or takes them on days out- especially during holiday time. She's very generous and invests in the resources for the children to play with. We've been really happy with her. Never had a problem. Will be very sad to leave her when out child starts school
My daughter was cared for by Anice between the ages of 1 and 3.
I was very pleased with the care Anice provided for my daughter in all aspects of her growth and development. Anice took her to lots of groups such as ‘Sing & Sign’, specialised Childminder groups and standard playgroups. She also went on lots of day trips to places such as Horseworld, Softplay centres, Bristol Zoo and Puxton park.
She enjoyed participating in activities set up by Anice such as painting, cooking, sticking, planting seeds and waterplay.
My daughter was given a wide range of meals and even though she can be fussy, always found something she enjoyed eating.
I liked the fact that naps, eating, nappies and daily activities were noted in a daily diary.
Anice gave us review forms that we could complete if we felt there was something else we would like her to do, or any suggestions we could make.
Anice was willing to accommodate our requests on subjects such as potty training, dummies, naps and TV watching.
All of the family made us feel very welcome and she developed lovely relationships with all of the family members.
We would highly recommend Anice as a childminder, and we would still be using her now if we had not have moved out of the area.
