I am a registered childminder. I am married and live with my husband, we have 3 grown up children.
We moved to Weddington, Nuneaton in 2019 where I re established my business after having a successful childminding business for 24 years in the West Midlands.
I am active and love the outdoors, I incorporate this into my everyday activities with the children. I am a Forest Childcare provider.
I aim to run a setting which is more in the style of home from home. Encouraging your child to be comfortable within my environment, working in partnership with parents to accommodate parental choice wherever possible, for example including the use of cloth nappies if desired.
Ofsted Inspection October 2018 graded GOOD.
My Experience
I come from a background of Social Work and Social Care, mainly in Residential Care. The majority of this was with children and young adults with specific learning needs.
I have been a childminding since 1995 and continue to improve my practice year on year; keeping up with all legislation, working practices and current training. My my first aid and safeguarding qualifications are up to date.
I have spent some years mentoring Newly Registered Childminders after completing the required training.

Daria cared for my two daughters for a number of years before she relocated. The care she provided was brilliant, my girls adored Daria, her family and Loki the Labrador. Will never forget our first meeting and her passion for children shone through immediately.
Her setting was fantastic, a real home from home environment, garden full of play equipment, regular educational visits, day trips out to the beach. Daria also did homework and reading with them after school.
No hesitation is recommending Daria who cares for your children like her own. Nothing was ever too much trouble even at very short notice she accommodated us each time.

I can not praise Daria enough! She looked after my son for 5 years. She is amazing! Her whole family are so welcoming. My son loved going to Daria’s house. Daria is always doing many different activities daily with the children, taking them out on many educational visits. She is extremely knowledgeable and so hard working. She always goes above and beyond for the children. My son used to get so excited going to hers, that it really put me at ease leaving him. Daria has recently moved and I am going to miss her very much. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for childcare. Leaving your child with Daria will completely stress free as she is completely amazing! She will be a forever part of our lives! Thank you Daria 💗
