Hi
My name is Janet. I am in my late 40's, I live in Sherwood and have no ties.
I have worked with children for most of my working life ( apart from two years when I worked in a local hospital as a health care assistant) both as a sole charge nanny caring and looking after children from newborn upwards born upwards. I have worked for about a dozen families on a long term basis over a span of twenty years!
I have worked twice for two of the families I have worked for in been lovely being able to watch the children grow up from being “little”.
I have also worked as a teaching assistant to both able bodied and SEND children and teenagers on both long term supply and short term contracts.
At present I am doing some supply day nursery work and bank hospitals shifts as a HCA. But it is nannying I prefer to do.
I have had other nanny/babysitting work whilst doing over the last few years One job was working as a weekend nanny to three little girls aged 5, 18 and 2 months when I first started looking after them. Their parents were International students studying their masters degree. The family were here for a year. They went home two years ago but came back to Nottm last year as the father is now studying his PHD.
I also worked at the girls high school as a lunchtime supervisor, looking after years 1 to 6. Sorting out friendship problems, first aid incidents, playing games and activities. I was there for six years.
I am qualified to NVQ3 both in childcare and education and as a teaching assitant. I have a current DBS, a basic first aid certicate and a safeguarding one too!
I have a clean driving licence and my own car.

My Availability

I am usually available full time Monday to Friday.
I am available full time and will be interested in either full time nanny jobs and/or after school roles as a nanny and I would also be interested in doing light housework for the household

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

£12 to £15 p/h depending on the no of the children, and whether it is a bank holiday or not. Also, the min I charge is for two hours, and this is applies if I am cancelled 72 hours prior to a booking!
